ITT: I have learnt that taking the simple task of a piss, while being a Man, isn't at all that simple; factors such as split stream, morning wood/sex/own hand, pressure, drunkness among other explanations.

So, as much as most Men do miss through no fault of their own all I ask from the Male population (and Female) is just to clean up your piss after you But, pretty much all of you do, so go forth and piss!

Kudos for keeping this so light hearted too and no stupid trolling or flames. I love the Escapist

After living with more Men then Women all my life (Family/Friends/Relationships) I've always had to enter a bath/toilet room with piss on the floor and toilet seat. This happens 90% of the time in the mornings I lived with a few Men in a house (and more often when alcohol has been involved) I nearly fucking die sometimes because of slipping.
Why does it never get cleaned up by the said Man?

I don't quite understand it, I'm I just unlucky? (although, a lot of people do agree, even Men themselves)
Do some Men think their penis is longer than what it actually is, so stand too far back?
Is it just lazines?
Or, do you have your own explination as to why you/other Men do it?



Note: I'm not saying all Men are like this, I just want to know why it does happens in cases?!

It could be asked why, knowing that so many men are easily tempted to try and pee through the hole in the seat, why then do so many women insist on leaving the seat down but not the lid?

Everything said here about the difficulty of aiming with a fleshy tube covers it pretty well, also there's never any way to know exactly how the initial burst of urine is going to come out, making it very difficult to control your aim until you have a steady flow.

Anyway I'm a man and I've spent the last three years cleaning up piss that wasn't mine in my house. The question here really should be, "Why are some people so fucking inconsiderate that they leave their piss all over the seat and floor without making any effort to clean it up?"

This is just silly. I exhausted myself posting in this thread yesterday, and when I come back today, I see that I have 12 new messages, and that this thread has grown to 10 pages.
If anything, I have learned that we men are just all too eager to tell women about our equipment.

You are sadly misinformed, know women that wipe incorrect or have other health or hygiene issues...

I'm (sadly, according to you) "mis"informed by my education in surgical technology, a field wherein my primary function is to prevent contamination during surgery. The male urethra is much farther from the dirtiest external part of the body, which is why yeast infections are so rare in men. Check out WebMD or Alexander's Care for the Patient in Surgery if you need to check this. Women don't get yeast infections because of hygiene issues.

What women have YOU been hanging with? Yeast infections can happen, but I've only known one woman to get one. And this is speaking as one of the female persuasion who lived in an all female dorm for a few years. So yea...I wouldn't use the term "all the time" to describe them.

I am thinking this is just a confusion of terms?

Yeast infection is a form of vaginitis is a VAGINAL infection and therefore has nothing to do with the URETHRA (urinary tract)... I believe you are talking about UTIs (Urinary Tract Infections). Hey, what would I know, I am just female and obviously completely uneducated about my gender and health issues.

Yes, women do get UTIs because of wiping improperly. We are typically taught to wipe front to back, just once per hand of TP, to avoid such problems. Hence while there are lots of causes for UTIs, hygiene is a big one. Personally, I have only ever had them from spermicide as I am apparently allergic to it.

Women that get yeast infections due to hygiene issues are usually guilty of douching too often and throwing off the delicate bacterial balance or they use perfume junk and cause the same issue. A problem of trying to be too "clean". Again, for me, this is a spermicide thing, it throws that balance out of whack.

And this is probably more than any other male wanted to really know about the subject. Sorry boys. Some girl may thank you some day for being aware of such things.

Well YEA yeast infections happens exponentially more in women. That's like saying that women get menstrual cramps exponentially more than men. It's because we have the parts for it.

As JezebelinHell explained I think you have yeast infections and UTIs mixed up. Just a hunch.

I just got a warning from a moderator. It said "Don't troll, and keep the sexism to yourself."

I found both of these confusing, especially the latter part. It would appear that I didn't make my statements clear, so I'll do that now.

This all stemmed from my response to the OP. I thought the response was fair, and she hasn't protested. While some of us guys are neater than others, I simply explained that aiming with an object that's two feet south of your eyes can be a little tricky and used the analogy of explaining to men why yeast infections are more common in women. As two other posters have pointed out, I actually meant UTIs-sorry for the confusion. The proximity of those 2 body openings is the main reason for the greater frequency of UTIs in women. This is not an expression of misogyny or chauvinism but a medical statement. It is in textbooks. The point of the statement was the analogy, and was in no way meant to pick on the women here at the escapist. One of the responders suggested that there is a problem with the intelligence or hygiene of women who contract these - surely THAT would be more an expression of disdain for women then anything I said.

I responded to these statements because they were presented in such a snooty fashion. But if anyone felt I was picking on their sex or picking a fight, they could've simply said so to me.
