Why cant you kill kids?

okay... every reason given before this about morals, feelings, and everything else about how it is disgusting or 'too evil' is outright wrong.
the only reason Killing Kids is not in games is because several countries (germany is one off the top of my head) which will out and out ban a game from sales with in its boarders if it has the capability to kill children in it.
being banned in a country means you can't get money from players in that country. and well, game design companies are there to Make money after all... so they follow the rules so they can get the cash money.
hell in a lot of games, Fable, Fallout3, oblivion, making kids invunrable is More of a hastle than simply allowing them to die, which is why a lot of open world games simply don't have kids in them. (GTA3 and on, for example)

In my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with killing children in a game (just as there is nothing wrong with acts of mass violence and murder against adults, teenagers and the elderly in an artificial environement), especially seeing as most children in games are seemingly introduced with the inadvertant goal of making themselves as annoying and infuriating as possible (who can honestly say that they have not felt the urge to harpoon mayor Mccready, from little lamplight, in the eye?).
Killing children in reality, however, is a completely different thing altogether and is rightfully condemned by most people in society.

Although I can see someone making a thread about this, called something like "The Innocence..." leading them into the trap that is a thread discussing prostitutes... it is the kind of misleading title that I am getting quite well known for, however the subject is far too seedy... I go vice versa, seedy title but relatively innocent subject.
It isn't 'morally correct'. However, rigging a nuclear bomb to explode in the middle of a populated city (which includes children) is a-okay. I half expected to see those little rascals wandering around in the ashes.
