It's cold. And jellified. And cold. And tastes like something you eat when you're whipped by your wife into having salad for dinner.

What kind of numbnut eats Quiche COLD? It's supposed to be served hot.

I am a man, and I fucking love Quiche.

Because it's hooooorrible!
But seriously, I've never heard that before. I'd eat happily eat it if I liked it, food is food, and food is good. Except quiche. Quiche is horrible.

I've never really had it (I've heard of it) and I might try it sometime. Didn't really think it was something that men generally disliked, though.

Most quiche I've had in my life has been pre-packaged, and reminded me of nothing so much as a sponge made of egg. The flavor was bland, the texture was terrible.
That said, I've actually looked up and made a proper quiche once... and the end result was pretty much scrambled eggs with cheese, ham and a few veggies... but in a casserole pan. Nothing wrong with it, but I'd rather just make the scrambled eggs. Less effort, same result.

As for being unmanly... uh... what? That pre-packaged quiche I had was generally served in a US Army dining facility, heated on a very manly grill table.

Must be another of them stupid American things, There is no stigma attached to food like that down here.
food is food, you eat it, it doesn't matter what's in your pants - there's no such thing as unmanly or female only food.

My mum's home-made quiche is delicious and one of my favourite meals :) it could be because we have the luxury of exceptionally fresh eggs from our chickens but it always tastes amazing, hot or cold

Soggy with a hint of crumbling and/or tearing, it can be like eating cardboard ( which I know a thing or two about )... eurgh! Get it away from me!...ME MAN! ME CLUB SABERTOOTH! ME BED WOMAN! ME HATE QUICHE!

My apologies, good frog, I henceforth shall pay more attention to what I am doing. Must be the thought of quiches that destroyed my ability to pay attention to what I was doing.
No problems my good fellow! I was highly amused. Also, I understand how the thought of delicious, soft, creamy tasty quiche can distract you from... mmmmmmmmmm *drool*... er, what were talking about again? quiche? yeah, it's delicious.

I have never seen Quiche in my life, in fact it's only ever mentioned on American TV shows I've watched.

It seems like it should be one of the manliest foods out there. It's essentially eggs, bacon, cheese, and potatoes, with some onion or broccoli depending on the recipe, all baked into a pie. You can practically hear your arteries screaming. I love quiche, btw.

Quiche is delicious. I usually have it with spinach and bacon, but I just can't say no to a quiche no matter the kind.

Because it's typically thought of as light, haughty, airy, and most damningly, French.
It's a societal rule- men are supposed to be big manly men, and manly men eat steak (or whatever).

Men who hate quiche, and the society that created them, just needs to grow the fuck up and realize that there is no food that will turn you gay (except foot-long sausages).

On a personal note, I like quiche, but it was my ex-girlfriend's favorite food, and I got tired of eating it all the damn time after awhile, so I kind of fell out with it.

I think it's pretty good as long as it was made right. However, when you look at TV sitcoms haven't you noticed all the fathers seem to be unsophisticated guys with beer guts who are going bald on their couch. Most TV shows are just preparing you to respond better to their commercials, they want you to but cases of beer cause that's what the life of the party does and eat burgers because that's what real men do. Not saying I don't like burgers and beer.... I'm just saying its marketing.
