Can anybody please link some evidence of this so-called Quiche Hate? I have never seen this stereotype in popular culture, in fact, I don't think I've ever seen the word quiche used in popular culture.
I love quiche, I wish I knew how to make it... Not that I would make it anyways, due to laziness in the kitchen, but seriously, if you put a quiche in front of me, I will inhale it.
What's this? I recently had 5 frozen quiche dishes in my freezor. I'm a guy. The only reason I think "guys" may not like quiche is because they don't like the taste of it. Surely they don't dislike it because of its name or that it's a French dish or because it sounds gay. I imagine some people simply don't like the taste of it. This goes for both sexes. Although, maybe some men's girlfriends insist on feeding them quiche and they find it to be one of those annoying girlfriend things and pass of quiche under that category. Just a theory.
First, I'm becoming more and more lactose intolerant by the day.
Second, if I'm going to eat something that looks like a pie, it's going to be an actual pie.
Third, it's incredibly unhealthy.
And finally, the word quiche looks and sounds a little too feminine for my liking.
Since when the fuck is there anything wrong with having quiche?
I make a quiche once every now and then, tides me over for a few breakfasts after that. Not to mention I pack that with things like bacon or turkey, yukon potatoes and some veg in there too. Fucking delicious. Fucking great for you. Gives you superpowers (don't quote me on that)
Had quiche for dinner last night with my two boys aged 5 and 2, along with fries and corn on the cob. Mmmmmm, deeeeeelicious. Oh, and yes...I am a man (with a beard, a hairy chest, a love of sports and all other "manly" pursuits). My 5 year old had three helpings!!! He is more manly than I am.
OP: Holy Falkland Islands! 1982 called and said you can keep the joke, but it wants it's book back so it has something to prop it's feet up on while it watches reruns of That's Incredible!
