Why do guys seem to hate Quiche?

I have never heard of this stereotype. My family eats quiche ever Christmas and Thanksgiving.

I don't know why ANYONE would hate quiche, I mean it's basically an omelette in a pie plate and as far as I know the only people who don't love omelettes are people with egg allergies.

I think it's because it's a French dish, and French stereotypes dictate that the French are anything but manly and are incapable of producing anything as such.

so with this info I have gathered together that

but my dad is probably one of the manliest men I know and he eats quiches so I never saw it as non manly. what I am saying is that I am confused.

Its not unmanly, thought unmanly items are sometimes added. Used to be known as ice box pie because basically you clean your fridge by tossing your old food into it. So I am opposed to paying good money for it in a restaurant. Its tasty enough to make at home and darn cheap, Im not paying good money for something I can make.
