As Mark Twain once said, "Do not put off until tomorrow what can be put off till day-after-tomorrow just as well."
We as people generally only procrastinate unpleasant things, such as homework, chores, etc. I sort of figure it's just a good way to cope with having to do annoying, tedious tasks. By not doing them, of course.
My sentiments exactly. Life is already full of constant toiling; deadlines, appointments, assignments, work, drudgery...All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Procrastination is a way to manage the ridiculous workload. It becomes a problem, however, if one starts using it as a shield against all sorts of responsibility. It makes going back to work even more difficult.
But for now, forget your duties, sit back and catch your breath. You can do the rest tomorrow (If you can´t, then the day after tomorrow.)
