Posting in RPs is literally the only reason I come to this site anymore.

As far as I'm concerned, the place is dead, a shadow of it's former self. Other than Critical Miss, there is no other content on this site worth giving a damn about, it's glory days are behind, all the people that made this place great are either gone or retreated so far into usergroups that they might as well be.
RPs? Plural? You're only in one, bro. XD
I just noticed we both have skeletons avatars now.

COINCIDENCE?! Or some meta shit about the state of the site?

I come here to see what people are thinking/saying.

It's always a good idea to keep an eye on the masses in case one has to flee the country.

I'm still here due to a mix of boredom, curiosity, and habit.
I've got a routine of about ten sites that I peruse during the course of a normal day, and this is number four on that list. In case you can't tell, I live a life of true excitement.

Largely this for me as well. Some interesting stuff crops up from time to time that makes sticking around worth it, but by and large I'm still here out of habit and nostalgia.

Migrating my RP is going to be a pain in the ass if that happens, I tell you whut. I have a json file of the first 60ish pages, but I'd need a good way to convert that to something manageable. Also, I don't think json files work well with bbcode spoilers, which quite a bit of story was hidden inside of. May just end up going page-by-page converting to PDF or something just as tedious lol.

Spoiler tags on these forums are encoded in Base64 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base64] to avoid the contents of them coming up in, say, Google Search results. That's more likely to be the reason why the spoilers are looking bad than JSON itself.

If you have an idea about how you would want it to be laid out -- for example, one file per post with date, time and poster in the title -- then feel free to send the details my way. I can't guarantee it, but I might be able to write a script to do it automatically.

Awesome, when I have time I'll send you some ideas!

:/ Sad to hear that; it's never fun to lose anything you consider a home. Welcome back, though! ^^ Hey, you know what doesn't get much activity around here? [small]

Tend to lurk most the time, still come for the news topics and other little things would post reviews if that section didn't seem like a reply less wasteland, and RP section seems more like a small community in itself.

Usually don't read articles but swing by the news room and GD. They tend to have lastest rumors and oddities to talk about. People aren't bad, snarky but not bad.

I really don't much anymore. I turned off quote notifications so I don't really get in long arguments even when I do occasionally post. Witch is fine with me because frankly a lot of people here have adopted some stupid ideas, and I'm not one to talk you out of it. So why do I still come here? I don't know some times I like to get pissed off at the latest internet outrage.

Hey, its good to have a routine.
Even when it comes to procrastinating.
I'm just happy that there's a pretty constant flow of people into this site to keep it relatively fresh. Like you being promoted, Mister.

Damn right I have. It's not like it'll take care of the whales on its own, right?

Nyet. The North Atlantic in particular has been slacking lately.

I'm seeing a surprising number of veterans in here, some of whom I've never met in all my years of lurking. Gives me hope.

Ignoring webcomics, my daily routine is about three websites at this point.

I feel this is the equivalent of settling down and growing old on the Internet.

Settling? Old? Never! I'm a young whipper snapper, just like my pappy was!
Why, I can still drink anyone under the table! As long as it's before 7pm and I've had my nap.

Yeaah, but you haven't heard anything about the Indian Ocean ones, now have you?
I've just gotten complacent as time goes on. It just seems like so much effort to stop and make a post, rather than just reading the random ones I peruse.

The glory days were before those stuff happened (ME3 ending, Anita Sarkeesian, Gamer Gate and Zoe Quinn etc) so I can guess finding a site that forbid those discussion are rare?
Neogaff would ban stuff like that, but they're the worst gaming forum on the internet. Facepunch and 4chan both will as well, but in spite of their current post rates they're husks themselves, and you still need to know how to ban evade to post on them since they do random bans.

Is that as long as the beverage is hot milk?
