Quickscoping is both realistic and unrealistic, yes, a sniper would NEVER, EVER quickscope in real life, but that doesn't mean the sniper rifle wouldn't fire straight or not be lethal if you did, as the designers of Black Ops seem to think. Also, quickscoping is pretty much only done on CoD, as it's just not as fun on other games, getting that nice quickscope in on someone rushing you never loses it's thrill, and it's not even that hard, as people want you to believe. I managed to be able to do it to some degree in 3 games, and it's a lot of fun to go into a private lobby with my friends and see who's the best at it (usually not me, though
). On the other hand, I REALLY hate the type of people it brought to the game, the whiny squeakers, and the people who record themselves doing a 540 degree no scope instead of a 360 degree no scope and think that it's some revolutionary new shot technique. (Seriously, look up "Jambi Shot" on Youtube, it's just a slightly longer spin, but it gets so many views.)
