There are some hidden treasures of the past that goes unnoticed. Yet it doesn't seem to be the case with nwn2.
My theory is that people brought the game, played it for 30 min, then quit because there weren't enough explosions. To those I can only say you have cheated yourself out of one of the greatest gaming experiences you can have.
However I understand that it might be hard for some people to get into it. Here are some tips:
- Play for at least 2 hours before you quit. The game is very slowly paced in the beginning to give you a true motivation and background, this will ultimately make the game better at a later stage, so just try your best to enjoy it.
- Start with a fighter, if you don't want to wrap your head around all the dnd rules and such. Just play a fighter they are ridiculously easy and since its a party game then you will have plenty to do in a fight anyway.
- Play it in on holiday or over the weekend. This games requires you to play it for a long time and if you don't play it in one sitting then the story might become to hard to keep in mind. You will absolutely ruin it for yourself if you play it disjointed.
Some people tell me the game is totally bugged, this is not the case. At least not any more, it might have been the case when the game came out, but since I brought the game like 6 month after release then I never got to experience them.
