It's not so much the story as it was the characters that people loved. They were well written and well performed.

I'm picking up a Switch in the near future, so I might as well buy this for it.

Why not on PC, you ask? Because I no longer trust my gaming laptop to run new games anymore. Even on the lowest settings the goddamn MENU of Doom 2016 had a framerate of about 2 frames per second, and it'll be a little while before I get around to building myself a proper gaming desktop.

It's only about 2 years old too, so I don't understand. My previous laptop kept up for about 5 years.

Laptop gaming is always awful imo. At that point I might as well just game on my phone.

Not the breaking of the embargo part, but the review copy part. I really didn't want to boycott this one.

Oh, come on, like reviews are important anyway, they are really nothing more than ads, every game is great!!! Unless you have some guy on Youtube you really like (which may or may not be able to get a review copy anyway depending on their contacts), there's nothing much to gleam from reviews that you can't get from gameplay footage. It was just an stupid move on Bethesda's part to not give out review copies because reviews are just ads and free marketing that they choose not to take advantage of.

They might not be important to you, and that's fine. I'm just not willing to support blatant anti-consumer practices.

I swear to god, if they've put in loot boxes and nobody's saying anything...

PFFFT, phone bad? That's just silly. You can still have a perfectly good control scheme on a laptop, unlike a phone.

Yes, it's suboptimal. But when you're a student having a laptop that you can use for schoolwork as well as gaming is a godsend.

Maybe it's just me and the fact I don't really care too much about graphical quality, but laptop gaming is mostly fine. As time goes on and stuff starts to chug even on Low Graphics is when things get bad.

I loved the first one and I'm definitely going to get this one as well. But I'm enjoying Divinity Original Sin 2 and ELEX these days and I plan on playing through Divinity 2 it at least twice. So I'm gonna wait a while. I think I'll get it during Holiday Steam sale.

getting naked in shootout is not ok. plus these scenes break immersion.

The premise of the game is Nazi super tech (involving robots of various sizes, who sometimes breathe fire, and lightning guns) won WWII and now they're supplementing with ancient Jew super tech while they try to ethnically cleanse the world and make it all one giant Germany. But it's still the early sixties, so it's all dressed up in a comically fascist perversion of sixties American culture (as shown with the mock game show and TV show advertisements. Also, giant afros). Now our improbably huge protagonist (who is immune to muscle atrophy) must single handedly kill them while wearing an ancient Jew power suit, which seems to be golden.

And this scene breaks your immersion? Sure, she probably wouldn't be that acrobatic 7 months pregnant, but that's your line for 'too ridiculous'? Blood soaked boobies? It's about as comically ludicrous as anything else in the game. Unless you're uncomfortable with nudity and/or sexually. In which case I recommend going to Las Vegas as soon as you are able. They even have a porn convention in January, but I imagine it's difficult to get tickets this close to the event.

I hated them in the old reboot of Wolfenstein, those elite uber-pixie ninja girls. They could insta-kill you from the other side of the map, and never seemed to miss. They were terrible.

I don't mind the pregnant woman going on the offensive, it seems over the top, but I also didn't play the previous game, so I don't have a lot of context.

I'd get a new Wolfenstein... if I could spare the cash.

Also, I don't care about the reason, the jacket being on fire. The reason is only there to justify cheesy nudity. OF COURSE she doesn't wear a bra or shirt beneath. She wouldn't be jumping around like that pregnant anyway. I rather liked her in the last game.

Edit: Looking at it again, I noticed she is wearing a sweater beneath. She has no reason to throw that off too. It would just take longer to lift it over her head. TERRIBLE.
