The game seems to be pretty big on political undertones, but with the circus vibe they simply don?t end up meaning much of anything. Hopefully for Bethesda?s sake they didn?t plan for them to, because at face value it?s a pretty awful mess. As far as story the game looks to have truly gone off the deep end.
What political "undertones", give me a spoiler/

I just read the plot on Wikipedia. It's bad.
All I got on wikipedia was this
"Following the events of Wolfenstein: The New Order, the Nazi regime has occupied America following their victory of the Second World War. William "B.J." Blazkowicz (Brian Bloom) and the militant resistance are trying to set up a second American Revolution against the Nazi regime. Frau Engel (Nina Franoszek) is hunting Blazkowicz, known to the Nazis as "Terror-Billy", in order to stop the Resistance.[6]"
It doesn't even need a spoiler, as the whole game's plot and everything that comes with it speaks for itself. The black dude banging a fat white chic is the icing on the cake.
Then you have things like the blatant doses of absurd irony [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nipNR5tJ_1w], which seem to more than vaguely be alluding to the whole Trump/Alt Right debacle. Interesting contrast I saw after looking that up [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQdDnbXXn20]
All against a backdrop that is being carried out in Europe as we speak. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvR-9xjzoPg&t=8s]
More irony. Shouldn't even have to read the comments to realize how dire the situation is over there.
Have to wonder why we don't see that side of things in the Stateside media. As Dan Brown said,
History is always written by the winners. When two cultures clash, the loser is obliterated, and the winner writes the history books-books which glorify their own cause and disparage the conquered foe. As Napoleon once said, 'What is history, but a fable agreed upon?
