the reason wot won this is the game has 40 million players and they posted a link on all their forums and leveraged freebies.

so log in this Friday and get your code that gives goodies and 3 free days premium while they run x5 XP, etc, etc...

and no its not an "mmo". by any sane persons definition it's an FPS.
While I wasn't being completely serious when I called it an MMO, it most certainly isn't an FPS.

It's hard to forget how broken and disappointing Skyrim was when stuff like this keeps popping up, almost as if to remind me of the all the things that was wrong with that game, and on top of that people are crazy about it, each to their own I guess.
I think you're in a minority for finding Skyrim a disappointment. Not that I agree with accolades for AAA games being dragged on for centuries. It's the result of a lot of people and money, and should inevitably be good.

Why is it that everytime I hear about Skyrim I feel like having to puke? I liked it when it came out after Bethesda finally realized they can't really make RPGs any more. Must be the endless reference jokes, more fame than it deserved (it deserved some but most of it was because of how overhyped it was) and covers of that terrible song.

Sorry for oftopic post but when I saw Skyrim as GOTY I just had to let it out.
