He has gotten this far without getting ban for using modio? I guess he diserves some credit, that would be very difficult.

And I was so proud of my 25000. Ah well, I enjoy getting achievements, so I'll get somewhere eventually.

-Raptor, out.

...Not exactly what I would brag about if it was me, but then again I guess that's why he has omitted his name...

Congratulations, you have just wasted 4 years of your life...? There should be an achievement for that.

Having been for a while the top achiever in a certain awesome browser game, I can say, don't knock the guy just because he wasted a lot of time and money on this. I'd compare the notification of a new achievement to finding a unique Magic card while being an avid Magic player..to finding unexpectedly a diamond on a sea bed amidst the pebbles. If you don't understand me, maybe you simply haven't found the right game for this :)

I'm very impressed and jealous. Achievements have as much meaning as we give them. Sometimes I question how much meaning I place on achievements. I go through phases where I play a bunch of crap games just for score. Then I question the time I'm "wasting" and go back to multiplayer games where there are no more achievements to earn.

edit To all the haters. Does it make you feel better to tell someone they have no life because you disagree with how they choose to spend their time? Sounds like being a bully to me. And I know how much the users on this site hate bullies.

He's achieved............. No friends!
He's achieved............. No life!
He's achieved............. Nothing that could possibly benefit him in the near or distant future!
He's achieved... Ok, I'll stop :(

I haven't had a chance to mention this yes, but this seems like a decent place: Condemned Criminal Origins has a total of 970 points.

I don't understand that.
Something even worse: The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth II has a total of 705 gamerscore.

I just looked through his games list and he has a lot of Japanese titles and other country versions in there (Sherlock Holmes 1000/1000 twice etc) and have to say my bullshit radar is going off a fair bit. I don't see how someone can have the time to get the 10002 kills in Bad Company and still have time to play all the other releases around that time

I've clocked a ton of hours on Bad Company over two uneventful summers and I still never got to 10002 kills. Also sensing a lot of boosting which kind of ruins the idea for me.

And his idea of sharing tips for a site sharing achievement tips has already been done - www.achievementhunter.com

Fair play. Might not be what someone consider the most practicle use of free time but a world record is a world record.

Achievements and trophies are good to let you know how much you've matered a game (in the developer's eyes) but treating it as a virtual penis you brag about?
Achievement junkies? I think a little more balance and lightheartedness is needed.
