I'm very impressed and jealous. Achievements have as much meaning as we give them. Sometimes I question how much meaning I place on achievements. I go through phases where I play a bunch of crap games just for score. Then I question the time I'm "wasting" and go back to multiplayer games where there are no more achievements to earn.

edit To all the haters. Does it make you feel better to tell someone they have no life because you disagree with how they choose to spend their time? Sounds like being a bully to me. And I know how much the users on this site hate bullies.

I haven't had a chance to mention this yes, but this seems like a decent place: Condemned Criminal Origins has a total of 970 points.

I don't understand that.
Something even worse: The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth II has a total of 705 gamerscore.

I just looked through his games list and he has a lot of Japanese titles and other country versions in there (Sherlock Holmes 1000/1000 twice etc) and have to say my bullshit radar is going off a fair bit. I don't see how someone can have the time to get the 10002 kills in Bad Company and still have time to play all the other releases around that time

I've clocked a ton of hours on Bad Company over two uneventful summers and I still never got to 10002 kills. Also sensing a lot of boosting which kind of ruins the idea for me.

And his idea of sharing tips for a site sharing achievement tips has already been done - www.achievementhunter.com

Fair play. Might not be what someone consider the most practicle use of free time but a world record is a world record.

Achievements and trophies are good to let you know how much you've matered a game (in the developer's eyes) but treating it as a virtual penis you brag about?
Achievement junkies? I think a little more balance and lightheartedness is needed.

I suppose he feels safe enough with more than 500,000 points under his belt that now he can give away his secrets.
I can pretty much tell you his secret.

He has no life.

I look at a gamerscore like an empty pail; easy cheevos are like filling a pail with turds, whereas harder ones like filling it with shiny gems. Sure his pail is fuller, but is it full of gems (Mirror's edge Speed Runs, 100% Ikaruga, other harder achievements) or with turds (Avatar TLAB, King Kong, most sports games, TMNT, etc).

Am I glib for saying it's not the size but what's in it (or how he got them)? I have to wonder how many people contributed to this.

Morale: If you're going to waste time doing something completely useless, endeavour to be the one wasting the most time and doing more of the useless thing than anyone else.

So is Wallace and Gromit any good?

Mines about 5600 but that's because I only really play games that I know I will LOVE. I don't spend that much money on anything substandard (a vow I made after buying ODST).

I admit, I'm surprised his name wasn't something like "xXN00bl3tXxXD3str0y3rXx." Still, I don't really see this as that admirable.

Mr. Stallion83, it looks like you-

*shades*

have achieved nothing.
