Worst Cartoon Currently on Air

Pretty much most networks have fallen on hard times lately...
but I can name a few awesome shows of the top of my head;

- CN's Adventure Time, Regular Show, Batman: The Brave and the Bold (despite its Adam West-like nature, the show is not afraid to kill off characters) Young Justice, and of course Thundercats. (Hot damn, I thought I got over Cheetara when I was twelve!!)

I also think Generator Rex is decent (has several good twists/elements), though it could've been great in proper hands, but it's usually hit or miss [depending on the episode].

- Disney's seems to have plenty of Phineas and Ferb fans. The show is not to my taste, but I won't begrudge them.

Seriously, no one mentions Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes? That show is the shit!!!
On a Marvel note, they should also bring back the Spectacular Spider-Man.

- I can't think of anything on Nick, not having payed attention to them. But I look forward to the Avatar: Legend of Korra.
Has anyone heard of that new TMNT show they're supposed to air?

As for shows they need to desperately need to get rid off?
- Johnny Test, The Garfield Show, Spongebob Squarepants (anything after season 3), Ben 10: Enter Subtitle Here, later seasons of any anime based on a game (Pokemon, Beyblade, etc.) and Naruto Shippuden.

I am almost 25, but I prefer cartoons (and perhaps a live-action drama or education program) over mind-numbing reality television any given day...

There is this Batman one on Cartoon Network I can't remember the subtitle, Johnny Test, Ben 10 and actually a lot of stuff on Cartoon Network at the moment. Dora the Explorer and I don't care but My Little Pony does irritate me and to be honest I don't care if the OP asks nicely but if we can't make a thread like and we can't talk about it without there being a flamewar then these threads shouldn't be made.

Don't really watch cartoons right now unless it's Transformers, Futurama, South Park or Anime (unless I can find a place to watch Megas XLR).
I guess out of the list of really bad cartoon's I've watched I'll say The Cleveland Show, God that sucked

EDIT: Oh my bad, the above list was for my favorite animated shows on TV.

In that case, the bad ones are Family Guy and that problem solvers thing. I've never watched any of those two so it's not really fair for me to judge.

Why the hate on Shippuden? The series doesn't start to go completely off a cliff for another 2 seasons.

And yes, Avenger's is freaking wicked. No question. Plus, they managed to make Wasp hot. Didn't think you could do that.

Plus, it will make everyone forget there was an earlier Avengers cartoon. Ignore that one please.

I should've been clear that I meant on Disney XD's version of Shippuden, which is pretty much butchered. I am actually indifferent to the show, thought I prefer the manga since any anime filler can die in a fire.

Thought at least they have not taken liberties to the extent that f*cking 4Kids has done to other anime shows.

I hate that the U.S. is missing out on awesome long-running anime, like Funimation's english-dubbed version of One Piece, or the wickedly gory Saint Seiya (then named "Knights of the Zodiac")

I seriously thought that I would never hate Flock of Seagulls as much I did when they incorporated "I Ran" into an anime of my childhood.

Almost every kids show on air. Why? Because THEY ARE ALL IDENTICLE! E.g: All "boys" shows make jokes about nothing but farts. And "girls" shows are just not funny at all (espeiccly My Little Pony) There are some exeptsions of new cartoons that i accually like, Adventure Time because it feels "classic" and chowder because despite having the odd fart joke, its still funny.

What is great:Adventure Time , I have no idea why I like this show.

To quote Finn: "Ha ha! That sounds so... stupid. (beat) *Suddenly exhilarated* And totally awesome!" (He was talking about a trap that involved fighting ghost gladiators, but this still describes Adventure Time.)

Chowder, The Misadventures of Flapjack and Spongebob Squarepants.

I actually quite like their art styles, but they suffer from mentally annoying high-pitch characters. I like the first couple of Spongbob seasons, however, I was rather young that time. When the movie came out, they made him too... overly dramatic I guess. From then on, I disliked the show.

Cartoons that I really enjoy now are The Avengers: EMH and the new Thundercats, especially The Avengers, that show is freaking awesome.

Hmmmmmm I can only pick on heh. OK then. I'm gonna go with, Almost Naled Animals. WHY DOES IT EXIST. People keep censoring the slightest profanity and then this get through, a show that draws attention to the fact that all the animals are shaven and wearing underpants. It shows that the parents who act to get stuff banned to for the slightestthing are morons. It is also terribly written with terrible characters.

I hate that childrens shows are in such a decline they used to be soooo cool. DBZ for example was amazing, at least in my opinion. It had properly developed characters, no cheesy moral endngs, and people got cut in half with laser disks. I miss my own childhood.

To all kids of today growing up watching these terrible shows I have this to say.

Incidentally , i just happened to be looking at some of the clips for that show...specifically the ones with the REGIS Mark 5. It was a cool show, it's a shame they don't make cartoons like they used to huh?

Hmm I actually have to think about this. I was gonna say the new stuff on cartoon network, but most of it's actually pretty decent stuff.

Wait, I got it. The Wolverine anime:

My comic-nerd rage nearly resulted in smashed TV after watching that. I got they were trying to do the plot from the whole Wolverine goes to Japan, falls in love, gets awesome sword, has kid, loses kid, evil relative, son grows up evil, loads of sword fights inbetween. Also the story lines that followed were all decent as well(like sword fight in the Canadian wilderness with vampire who wants to kill wolverine as he needs the blood of an ageless man to become human).

But that show was trash, even the voice was awful. I mean that women seems to only be able to say "logan" over and over.

Pretty much the cartoon shows on the channel Pop Girls at the moment (it's a freeview kid channel in the UK) since it got awful shows like 6teens, Z-Squard and others.
I suppose the upcoming shows which I will be dreading is the new Star Wars The Clone Wars series.

Personally, I'm not a fan of MLP: The Revenge of the Return of the Colon. One of my good friends on my Vent server talks about it all the time, and it just doesn't seem like my kind of show.
As for the worst cartoon on air? Fanboy and Chum Chum. It really is horrible.

Family Guy. It's poorly written, weak in humour and adored by young-teens who prefer its crudity and irrelevance over subtle and intelligent humour.

Just watching those shows gives me a headache, and I swear half of what is on Super Adventure Time is like, drug induced crap. One of the main characters is a rainbow pony...thing...

Fixed for ya. There is nothing redeeming about yu-gi-oh, any season.

this is redeemable. he's almost got the personality and competence of a standard shonen character.

but yea, every other character sucks. though the japanese version of the show is ok. (seriously, 4kids is horrible)

it's among the higher shows from this genre, below monster rancher and digimon. shows which have A PLOT (le gasp!) and character development (ok, this is Japanese version only)

bottom tier are pokemon (redeemable only through nostalgia), battle b-dman and duel masters.
i guess it's a guilty pleasure for me.
