Yes, I know they are fairly deep, I know they are hard to master... But I don't give a rat's ass about tiers and cheap stages. ITS A GAME. I just want to pick Mario and have some DUMB fun.

While an EXTREME minorty, I'm going to have to go with Die-Hard Anime fans. Whenever I State that I am not a fan and dislike it, For whatever reason perhaps they forced me to say somthing about it, It's not as if I just randomly go around saying that. Anywase, The Die-Hard fans will try to convince me I am wrong and I should love it beacuse its cool or whatever bullshit reason. They cannot accept that if I dislike it I dislike it and nothing can change that

Valves fan base, or as I like to call them the "EPIZODE 3 NOAAWWW!!!!" crowd. I live Valve myself but people just cant seem to get valves philosophy of we'll do it when it done and think that if they dont get episode 3 soon that means that Valve doesnt care about it and is leaving behind Half Life.

I was in an argument with a classmate of mine who said that Mario Galaxy 2 deserves an 10/10 on every website. My argument was that the story was overused, and the gameplay was basically ripped from the first one, and that a 10/10 means that it is perfect in every way

Um, criticizing the story of a Mario game? You're kinda missing the point.

Sonic fans. They're just... obsessed to an amazing degree. They think every terrible sonic game is the shit until a new one comes out so they can make awful jokes about the previous, they have the most mundane sense of humor, which they demonstrate by making millions of poorly animated videos that aren't funny at all, they write fanfic and make generally awful fanart, and... sonic porn -shudder-. Maybe I'm being too harsh here, and I'm sure there are totally normal sonic fans, I myself loving every Sonic game up to SA2B, but I can't take the obsessive fans.

I was tempted for a second to say Twilight, but that series has gotten me so angry that it spiked at absolute hatred and then plunged into apathy. I don't care any more. I really don't.

So I'm gonna go with the Call of Duty fanbase. You can't say one thing about those games that isn't praise in a lot of places and get flamed by half the planet.

You can make a good story out of anything.

Now, that's not to say that Mario needs a DRAMATIC character driven storyline or anything. But you can still make a good storyline out of that.

Sure you can, but the Mario games clearly are all about the gameplay. The characters that appear in the games cannot even be considered characters, they're plot devices. The story is irrelevant, it's just the excuse to bring you those crazy levels.

Beatles fans. An okay band from nearly half a century ago. I had a friend get mad that a Beatles song was in a commercial like they are so amazing they their bleh music shouldn't be sullied by anything.

I'd say footballfans (soccer). They see all the flaws the game have (diving, for example) but when you start talking about making changes to the game that might get rid of the cheating (and make for more entertaining matches) they nearly piss themselves out of anxiety.

I could not agree more with this.

I especially hate people who refer to the team they like as "we"

I have not heard of any other sport killing more people by having the spectators trample, fight and stab each other.

I'm a Call of Duty player and from personal experience that community is by far the worst. Next is Halo from what I've seen. Third will have to be the worse have of the WoW community. In WoW half of the players are terrible people, the other half range from decent people to downright upstanding ones. The terrible people make it know that they are terrible a lot more than the good ones make it known that they are good sadly :/
