Ya, I don't but many games each year either, maybe averaging about 3-6 a year depending on exclusives. Like hell if you count only 2011 I bought Killzone 3 and AC: Brotherhood and will probably pick up resistance 3, skyrim, and the new assassin's creed eventually maybe around Christmas. That being said, the worst purchase I think I ever made was probably Modern Warfare 3. So much hype that the ridiculously short campaign and broken multiplayer could never live up too.Tdc2182 said:

Modern Warfare 2. Not a bad $60 game if you had multiplayer, which I didn't. It didn't help that I got the Super duper collector edition for $150+. Not worst game, but worst waste of money.
DNF could of been good, but it wasn't. Call of Try Hard as I like to call it has been uber-suck-age lately. I have been drawn in by more Strategic games like SC2 (Went to MLG Anaheim WOOT!) and the BF3 Alpha, which is miles ahead of Any Call of Duty game I have played ever. You NEED to get on your Arse and crall around and flank and actually fucking play, not run around with Telleport Pro. The only thing that is making me buy MW3 is the Story, Which I think is at least better than other games like Bullet Storm (If It even has a Story).Dr. McD said:
Damn, I bought it used for 360 after I played the Beta on Steam. The Story was just as cluster fucked as the last game. It was console-fied and a lot of the Multiplayer Maps suck or have spawn-camping/killing problems. Heroes 4, i have no idea why i bought that despicable excuse for a game, there is just nothing good, cheerful or entertaining in that horrible pile of misery...
Halo 3 ODST, i hated the achievement system and only got 4 achievements until i gave up on that game (mind you i beat that game), then i tried the multiplayer... it was halo 3 multiplayer, NOT odst, thus achieving 2 achievements for halo 3. there goes my consistant gamerscore 
Demon's Souls was designed to make everyone suck at it. Randomly having boulders fall on your head and kill you is BS. It is not designed for skillful players. The only way to play it is to die over and over and memorize where all the falling boulders are going to occur. You probably think memorizing where all the boulders were going to fall makes you a skillful player, but it doesn't. Any child can do that.krazykidd said:

Brink, Bulletstorm and Borderlands.
Brink wasn't what I thought it would be, Bulletstorm was boring as hell and kept crashing at a certain point in the game (plus the GfWL stuff took me a DAY to actually play the game after I installed it) and Borderlands was disappointing and the story was shit.

If i child could do that then people wouldn't quit , and there's more to the game than boulders. It actually does take some skill to the game , it's an action game , meaning there's monsters and bosses to get through, while it is true that there are traps theres more to the game than that . By your logic demons's souls is the same as super meat boy . It really isn't , thus i assume you never actually played the game but feel entitled to talk about it like you know .Eric Staples said:

A while back I would have said Demon's Souls or even Mass Effect 2, but in both cases that would have been because I hadn't played them anywhere near enough to justify their purchase.
However, I have to go with Devil May Cry 2, 3 or even Bayonetta, I don't like the game style and yet I still get suckered in with the hype and buy them anyway.
