I believe I am about to win this thread; Terminator Salvation on the PS3... if you played it, you will KNOW what I mean. :( So bad. So very very bad.
Very good choice. I got this as a birthday gift and it seemed disrespectful, but I traded it in almost immediately. Worse than my vote of worst that I actually did pay $60 for which is....

Borderland. Just Not Fun.

I didn't want it: my kid did. Says he tried it at a friend's house, loved it and had to have it.

I tried to warm up to it given its fan base and enthusiasm for it but, I think that $60 was flushed away.

Clive Barker's Jericho, payed £50 for it, played it once. It taught me to be more cautious when buying games.

Jaws Unleashed. It's been over five years and that is still the worst gaming decision I've ever made.

I enjoyed my last full-price purchase, and it was the first in 10 years.

So no, I dont' have one to share.

Hopefully Skyrim doesn't suck because it will be my next game to pay full price for at launch(Starcraft II a week after launch so that was the first game)

One of the few games I've paid that much for was GTA IV, a game which I didn't really like at all.
I agree.. It just didn't have that... funness.. That Vice City and San Andreas had...

Seems many agree with this, Two worlds 2; simply to explain: The Graphics are bad, in other words the character repeat the same movements over and over; when enemy's respawn to attacks, it seems they move as much as creatures in Diablo 1, maybe even worse, their is no story-line, like many have said, controls literally are terribly, and feels as if you have a 4 year old with down-syndrome controlling the controller. All-in-all its a terrible game that should not be bought...

I brought too human at full price. not actually the worse game I've ever owned but the fact that I spent $110 on it did not sit well.

Mafia II... Good game, but not worth the full price tag. Plus, it dropped to $40 or $30 in a month. Pissed me off, especially since I don't buy a lot of games at full price.

Metroid Other M. I went in expecting another great Metroid; I loved Super Metroid (never got to play the Original Meroid until recently and haven't got around to Metroid 2), I enjoyed Fusion, loved the Prime Trilogy, and played Hunters until my game broke (glitched right at the final boss battle). I expected more of the same with Metroid Other M completely unfazed by the fact that the game would retrograde in terms of controls and done by Team Ninja (the worst possible choice for a game whose main character is a strong independent female). After all people doubted Nintendo for making the Prime series a FPS but not only was it a good game series but showed the GameCube and Wii could in fact be a great platform for FPS titles despite lacking in powerful hardware.

So I picked up Metroid Other M at a midnight release and returned it a week later after being subjugated to clunky combat, slow paced action, a lack of exploring so common in the Metroid series (replaced simply with backtracking, which is not to be confused with actual exploration), badly voiced lines, plot holes on equipment (you mean all this time I had the Viara suit upgrade but chose not to use it until turdbrain upstairs said it was okay!?), and the icing on the cake was that my favorite genocidal/planetcidal (seriously she's got a higher kill count than the Death Star) badass bounty hunter had become a ditzy shithead who has panic attacks about some cyborg dragon she usually dispatches with relative ease at least once EVERY DAMN MISSION.
I paid full price for it too. It was made even worse because this fucking thing was a torture to play through, then it's badness was the only thing that occupied my mind for weeks. Hell, I had a dream recently staring samus being mentally tortured. After remembering some of the details, I figured out that it was a metaphor for what they did to her character.

So yeah, I paid $70 (I'm in canada) for a shitty game, a few weeks mental torture and a fear in the back of my mind that I am going insane. Thanks Sakamoto.
$70? I live in Canada too and no where charges $70 for a new release, let alone a Wii game which costs $10 less than 360 and PS3 games. Wherever you bought that from just ripped you off, big time.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood. Got it for Christmas so I didn't technically buy it, but for $60 to by a game that about 5 missions in I lost all interest in the story and just resorted to murdering guards for no apparent reason other than he pushed me because I walked within 10 feet of him is not $60 material to me. I've tried to get back into it, but I still just lose interest after a couple missions.

Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition.

I spent 80 bucks for a postcard, a soundtrack, a hunk of plastic with lights (Plasma Cutter), the Rivet Gun (even fully upgraded it still sucked ass), Zealot Suit and Force Gun ((which is only slightly better than the starter suit) seriously, for collector's edition, I thought it would be somewhere along the line of the Tank Suit), and a $60 game all inside a pretty box. I swiped the hacked save file that was floating around just to feel like I got my money's worth!

Never again Visceral. Never again.

Fable 2 for me personally.

I enjoyed the game right up until the ending which is basically a huge FUCK YOU!!! from the designers to the players.

Every battle could be won by hitting auto attack and occasionally healing. That is not a good battle system. The visual design was high in terms of polygon count but lacking in being unique or inspired. It was just bland. I'm not attacking you opinion, I just disagree :)

Also I agree on prototype.
You must be really good with stats, cause I had to paradigm shift quite a lot to get through the bosses. And I beat FFVII without much trouble.
The design was pretty good, well maybe I'm saying that cause I'm a Nomura fan. (Really looking forward to FFvsXIII).
And also FFXIII gave mmy new #1 video game girl.

I've been trying to be careful with what I buy so probably Enchanted arms (I still half enjoyed it though) was the worst That I paid full price for.

But I also bought Dawn of war ages ago and because of a bad computer never got to play it, so that was a waste.

The worst game I have in my collection(that I bought for $60)is Darksiders. Though there are many pros to this game, I completely regret spending so much money for this game. Bought it for the 360 and I have never seen so many hiccups in a game. Graphics were good, gore was good, but that's about all I can find good about this game. I know there are a lot of people that disagree with me on this, but I would have preferred to spend my money elsewhere.
AGREE SO MUCH

2 Worlds 2 : I was a fool & didn't research it to much bought 2 copies of it for me and my brother because of the multi it has. It made me mad from the start since I couldn't choose my gender but I looked beyond that and tried to play it. " Rant incoming " I guess you need an HD tv to read anything the game wants you to. So I had to guess at what it was trying to tell me. The inventory system brought me back to playing Might & Magic. Not that it's bad really I'm used to it because I still play the older M&M's but surely they could have tried to come up with something new. Or used some other inventory system. The voice acting was intolerable
as if that wasn't bad enough they couldn't even sync the voices with the mouth movements properly. And that brings me to all the gesturing the main character does it didn't fit more than half the time. I will rap this rant up with just saying the combat I found to be awful.

Bottom line I played it for maybe 10 mins before ripping it from my console & have not touched it since. So $120 bucks wasted I'm not over stating here when I say this was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made.

Now it's time for people that actually liked it to rip me apart... Have at it ; P
