When I called him out on it he said "The faster we kill him, the faster we don't die."

I have one who made the list. Well I have been excited for swtor for a long time story wise. Well When I was going to black talon I ran into a player who wanted to group. Now I explained to him that my sith is going grey and would make a lightside choice, and to which he replied, "Your actually going to listen to the dialog?". I said, "Yes". He left group a second later. I know some people don't want story, but to play a Story Oreinted MMO and expect others to not follow the story was /facepalm.

Later he was in pvp match doing nothing as the scoreboard listed him as 0 across the scores. which added he was one of those annoying afkers.

The main thing that gets me is I find Gamers in story driven Games wanting more guns and FPS styled things in an RPG. Sorry for the rant

As much as I love Halo, I can't deny that the fan base has a bad infestation of (as Yahtzee puts it) Meta Cunts. The worst breed is the MLG player who says that you need a 2.0 K/D and need to be in the top 2% of the Onyx division (The highest ranking division in Halo Reach's ranked mode) just to be considered "good". And then he constantly pulls the "I'm better at the game so I know more about it than you." Buddy, there is a HUGE gap between game players and game designers, I wouldn't hire an NFL payer to make a new sports game, the same goes to you with video games.

-Those people in MMORPG's that blame the healer in PvP when the healer is being chased by half of the opposing team (I'm not bitter or anything). Pretty much all the gamers who blame everyone/everything but themselves when something goes wrong.

I can't think of anyone who I might label as the worst gamer ever, but I can definitely think of some guys who I could label as the most annoying/biggest duchebag. The little ten year old squeekers are definitely the most annoying. I know that there are some out there that aren't that bad, but the majority of them are bad if only because they don't know when to shut up or how to talk into the mic in a way that isn't yelling. Most people who try to use the Kinect as their mic are also annoying because most of the time all you get is either echo spam or death screech.

Some of the biggest duchebags I've seen are the guys who say that you suck or boast about how badly they beat you at the end of a match when the only reason they were able to do so is because either your entire team quit leaving you to defend yourself against the entire enemy team or because they were whoring the power weapons. Usually it's a combination of the two. Those guys who leave a match (sometimes leaving you by yourself) at the first sign of losing are also complete duchebags.

I was playing Poker on XBLA a while back and came up in a tournament against this guy named something like "PenisRipper". He was a nice enough dude, but pretty soon the conversation turned to how many times he'd been banned from XBox Live. You see, apparently the last few times around, he'd chosen names like "DickDestroyer" and "CockMangler" and the cous de grace, "BabyPenisKiller" (or something to that effect).

When I pointed out that perhaps a series of names invoking maimed genitalia was not a wise path to pursue -- particularly when involving an infant -- he began to laugh hysterically. As though I had made a funny joke.

I don't play poker on Xbox anymore.

That just made me laugh really hard... I have a sick sence of humor.

Easily the worst ever was a F2P player in TF2 that kept saying he would ban me for killing him

Some 8 year old in Halo Reach who killed me in the beginning of a game and then kept going after me. When I asked him why he said that red means bad in America. I had no idea how he came up with that and told him that he was on the red team and had to shoot the blue guys. I have no idea how he came to that conclusion and I'm an American so I'm even more confused.

MOBA players are some of the scummiest scumbags that ever scummed the scummies.

fuck those guys.

Some of them are really nice though.

For example, this has happened to me a lot while playing LoL: some guy goes 2-10-2 in the first 5 minutes. I kindly point out what he is doing wrong, and he actually apologizes for his performance and asks me for tips.

Stuff like that just warms my heart, but thats probably just because the majority of MOBA players are such dicks. I would love to know how many times the words "fuck you noob" have been typed into the chat box.

What's a MOBA player? What does it stand for?

"Multiplayer Online Battle Arena", I think. Not so sure.

DOTA, DOTA 2, League Of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, etc, are all MOBA games.

Alot of us old-schoolers usually refer to them as AoS games in reference to what is (to my knowledge) the first "MOBA" game, Aeon of Strife.

I may be the worst gamer I know. I love games, but I am not very good at any of them, shooters least of all. I have to dial back the difficulty on some levels just to make it through. So, I confess; as much as I love gaming, I am terrible at it.

EDIT: I don't play games online, so I really only know about four other gamers, all of which are far better at games then me.

I never understood why a lot of team based game have players who refuse to act like a team. It ruins pretty much everything. Oh, and runners in the Assassins Creed multiplayer. (Your goal is not to run the entire map just to have 100 points...).

Oh god this so much, I hate runners so much, which is why I never play Wanted, I barely ever come across people who actually try being stealthy. Manhunt is the better game type because if you aint stealthy then you will die, a lot.

No, it's the tools at my school who only buy Call of Duty and Fifa.
I ask how they can get by without a variety of different games, and it just irritates me that they don't try RPGs or different Action/Adventure games, hell, It'd be a wave of relief if they give Dance Dance Revolution a try, but all they play is the same series of shooters, they don't even play different shooters. Just COD and Fifa.
That's every Fifa, by the way. Every single year it's ''LOOK HOW NEW IT IS!''. It's the same game re-released with better graphics, get the fuck over it and play something else! Vary your games!
And then they have the nerve to talk about how bad other games are, when the only things they play are rehashed shit.

My thoughts exactly. The only game anyone ever talks about at my school is the latest CoD. Why not try some other, more interesting games? This always annoys me.

It was on Gears 3 horde mode.

I was playing with a friend of mine and we decided to play online (we were in a party so we would only have to hear eachother). We join a game and as we're playing Im getting alot of downs but people kept stealing all my kills, so I'd get high scores but have no kills. After all the rounds were over, I get a message from one of the guys we were playing with. The message went something like this:

I cant believe how you religious* people can be such shit at killing people. Why dont you get the fuck off the game.

*the religious part was from the verse I use in the description on XBL account.

In contrast with most people here the first thing coming to my mind when thinking of "the worst gamer I've ever met" isn't some total dickwad, but actually a pretty nice guy. Or boy.

My WoW-guild once took on a mage as social, who turned out to be a bafflingly inept 14-year old. In contrast with the popular stereotype he did not swear, insult, or talk smack. He was aware he wasn't very good, and tried his best to get along.
That, and he sounded awfully cute over ventrilo. The kind of voice where you picture a set of oversized eyes, and him having to pad his chair with extra cushions, just to reach the keyboard.

I know a few who are like that(except for the age part). I even brought some to the game. One friend I brought on though recently quit the game because players would talk trash to her even when she first stated she was new to the game and was still learning. I guess you can say those who can't be understanding or helpful to newcomers can also be on my list of the worst. They seem to expect everyone to come in knowing everything about the game. Granted WoW has been out for awhile but even new to the MMO scene, or even new to WoW, are not going to know everything, and gamers need to understand that.

TF2 premiums. They instantly assume all F2Ps are absolute noobs. I was a master spy long before a kind soul got me Premium, and yet servers with certain mods can even block F2Ps from getting in. It's just sad. What's the point of making the game Free to Play if half the servers are unavailable due to dicks?
