Wesker only looks good and his powers help too but, it almost sounds like he has throat cancer or something.

Wesker was good because he sounded like a villan, and because he was the only one who knew what was going on. The other characters never seemed to grasp the plot until it was spelt out to them. For example going through a facility and finding out they were making B.O.W's, even naming them, then killing two later and the characters acting as if they knew nothing about it. You read a terminal describing the damn thing and you still don't know what it is? Not to mention the whole thing about Jill...a three year old could have worked it out before that fight.

I do agree though Weskers voice makes it funny, as he's trying to be serious, yet his voice ruins the effect at times.

So, so, so overused it has lost its status as a good quote

It was never a good quote to start with, since there is a cake.

Actually, no there wasn't. GLaDOS used the cake as a motivator, then when the cake sign finally appears, you're being lowered into a massive furnace. Technically YOU are the cake, and other escapees/employees were simply warning you.

Didn't you beat the game? there was a perfectly good cake in the credits.

I didn't take that to be literal. I didn't think that that cake was the one GLaDOS was yammering on about. The cake is a lie.

yea, they did that too in Mass Effect, i got so sick of hearing people yell "Enemies everywhere!!!"

other then that, i'd say from Resident Evil 5 "We could give it a... shot!"
i almost destroyed the TV.

i just want to say i like your avatar. anyway my most hated quote is in Halo 3 when Miranda Keyes responds to "where should the squad leaders go?" by saying "to war" i just thought that it was too cheesy and it mad me have a sad face

Another Bioware repetition quote is in KoTOR when Carth (i think) gets this weird accent and yells "Down you go!" about a million times per fight.

"THEY'RE SINKING CITIES WITH A GIANT WOOOOOOOOORM!" If dialogue could be fed into a machine and used to create electricity, Gears 1 and Gears 2's dialogue could light up entire cities. FOR WEEKS. WITH A GIANT WOOOOOOORM!

"I will destroy you!", "Go go go!", and "Shepard's hit!" were also very annoying combat phrases in Mass Effect. Thankfully, the rest of Mass Effect's actual dialogue is pretty damn good, so ME's forgiven.
