This song sucks so bad I want to rip out my hair whenever I hear it. Can someone say auto tune?
I understand that the voice artist who sung this was an opera singer, so I doubt she'd have all that many pitch problems. The weird voice is keeping in character.

It's autotuned specifically to get the robotic voice, no other reason.

Worst song ever from me... hmmm... probably this:
You must be joking...
No way. Overexposed, overplayed, overlong and lyrically daft, definitely the song that I enjoy least out of anything in recent memory. I prefer the band the OP linked, in all seriousness.
Wow, you have some badass memory. The early 70's is recent for you?
I respect your opinion dude, but it's just shocking.
If I heard the song yesterday on the radio that counts as "recent memory" to me.

Come off it... I'm definitely not the only person in the world who is sick of overplayed, overexposed, over-idolised 70s rock. I'd rather hear something fresher than the same old, same old. If other people like it that's wonderful, but I don't want to hear the same damn songs hundreds of times until I'm in the grave, I'd rather hear something new.
I understand, but you're saying it's overplayed, which it most definitely is. That's doesn't mean that it's the worst song ever. But we have different opinions so I'll leave it at this.

I dislike most Indie songs, and Emo songs more so. I think there is something wrong when you have all those kids together with guitars and yet they will not bother with instrumentals. Come on, I want to hear some more Indie instrumentals, and not the same three chords over and over to some school kid's lyrical holocaust.

I dislike Hip Hop too, although I think the singers are far more talented. The occasional song I'll like, but Sean Paul...Sean Paul is ruinous. It actually hurts me to listen to this guy:

This shit:

This other shit:

Pretty much every other pop song with autotune, lyrics that are nonsensical/boring, and "musicians" who don't actually play music or make anything anyone would consider 'art'

Anything by the streets. They actually need to die. I can't believe people voluntarily listen to that garbage. If somebody puts it on I feel physically compelled to leave the room. My reaction is actually quite irrational when I think about it but I just can't help myself, it literally boils my blood to hear it.

There's a lot of other things people have mentioned here that I also agree with but nothing even comes close to the hatred I feel for the streets.

That.
OH MY GOD HOW I HATE THOSE TWO SONGS!!
And then we've got Nomy - Cocaine, everything from Lady Mister Gaga and I do not intend to forget the horrible songs made by T-Pain, the only song I like that he's in is "I'm on a Boat" by The Lonely Island.

EDIT: Actually, everything in the genre named pop makes me rage, and also does Hip Hop and Rap, stupid genres, why did you have to be made? WHYYYY?

They play stuff like this on the radio at work all day. And at the moment I'm often working 12 hours a day :(

Any mainstream country is horrible. I love old country (Johnny Cash, Roger Miller) and a whole lot of new and old folk music (and bluegrass: Chris Thile is the man), but this overproduced talentless generic pop with fake southern accents? It's just so ingenuine.

I also hate J-pop. The music on Street Fighter IV sounded like a kindergarten band on ecstasy.

I use to hate all rap. But Jay-Z's albums from the early 2000's were great (The Blueprint, The Black Album). Madlib and Mos Def are great too. I don't like "Dirty South" rap. The rap I like flows like A Tribe Called Quest. It's almost jazzy. Southern rap spits and is just grating.

I also hate metal. Those guys make me laugh. They seem like they have to prove to everyone just how "intense" they are. I just want to tell them to chill out and take a beach day. Metal is all about speed and technicality, and while I appreciate the talent and stamina it does require, I just can't dig the sound.

And I'm a Christian, but I've always hated Christian rock. How many manipulative ballads can you make?

holy shit that's bad, if any sound sounds like a guy getting his bollocks chopped off this would be it.
Ooh, found my new alarm clock! Nothing wakes up you faster than listening to death metal castration.

I hate any song that is made as a "response".

I also hate anything anyone else on this thread likes or anything ever made by anyone of any genre at any time.... except lady gaga, who I love. NO PLS! NO FLAMES!

Most of what idiots would consider "real" metal
The emo punk that fills up Kerrang these days
Mainstream rap
British "Indie" music, even though it's a massive contradiction because they are all signed to major labels
Nirvana
Slayer
Most music in the charts (although "Don't Stop Believing" and "Fireflies" has made me a happy bunny lately)
Obviously this is my opinion so back off flamers
Slayer revolutionized metal by creating Thrash. Nirvana beat out Micheal Jackson out of the top spot and made Grunge popular. Indie music is original and catchy. SUM-41 is probably one of the worst examples of punk rock but everything else is ok. But Rap and emo I'm totally on board with you though. Same with the music in the top charts today.
