Luckly for me, all my favorite shows have kick ass finales, so I'm happy. The best shows are on digital cable and satellite, with scrubs and some others as exceptions though. Most of the others are overrated like Lost...

Futurama...ending with a musical!?! Possibly the worst episode of all. Love the show, especially the "Another classic Sci-Fi show, cancelled before its time" in the Star Trek episode of the final season.

Heroes. The end of Series 1 was just muh. Then series 2 came along it went from muh to bad, from bad to terrible to a point where one episode of series 4 was the worst piece of shit I had witnesses on tv for a long time and I never wanted to see it again.

Skins Series 2, Why'd they have to go and ruin such a good thing?
Actually I thought it was a pretty good ending. So like skins to leave everything up in the air. It wasn't a happy or sad ending...it just was.

Series 3 was pretty bad at times though.

a good one though is friends.
a bad one was fraiser.
Actually the those two need to be reversed. The whole Ross finally gets Rachael was so cliche it actually physically hurt and since the comedy in the show had gone seriously down hill by then they may as well not have bothered.

Frasier on the other hand was epic until the end and actually left you with the question did he get the girl, did he start his new life away from Settle?

Both Atlantis and SG1 had fairly bad endings. SG1 was able to get away with it because whilst the last episode wasn't actually bad it just left it like it as the end of any other episode but given the movies were to come it's kinda hard to say it ended.

On the other hand Atlantis end was rushed, they squeezed a two parter in to one episode and the second last episode had no use other than too give a tiny plot push for the last episode. They should have dumped the second last episode and used the space to make a decent two parter final episode.

Red dwarfs cliffhanger ending was crap, and yes the new Dave episodes didn't explain anything or tie up anything either.
Yeah I love the whole unwritten series 9 that is meant to link the end of series 8 with the episodes shown on Dave. It's almost like they were saying the plot twists needed to get them to where they were in the Dave episodes were just to ludicrous so we'll just ignore them.

Chuck.

It was a fantastic episode. Chuck-ed full of sheer awesomeness. But the whole "I know kung-fu" bit sort of ruined the magic.
Huh, I rather liked it.
Also, it seems either the title of this thread is wrong, or people can't read, cause it says series, and you're all speaking of season finales.

Firefly. Only 11 episodes of 14 aired, and the 14th episode was just when things were starting to get really good!! Sucks.

Wonder Years. He didn't even end up with Winnie!!! Sad times.
That made me sad, too. But then again, that's how reality works. You can't always get everything you want.

The second in Angel. That was such a cliff hanger and all they gave us was a series of three comic book continuations.
That's what you get for watching inane drivel. The fact that you even watched the show sucks all the credibility from the thread. :O

Of course I am just joking around, since I never saw one episode of the show. :)

Angel, definitely. It's funny because if WB hadn't pulled the show out of nowhere, that would've been the most kickass season finale ever. I believe Joss had it in for another 2 seasons, but when the plug gets pulled, it's over. Thus, we got stuck with the worst cliffhanger IN THE WORLD!

Star Trek: Voyager

Long dramatic lead up to a borg sphere bursting out of a transwarp conduit to confront a fleet of federation starships, and *poof* it explodes and reveals Voyager, safe and sound in the alpha quadrant. No climactic battle or anything. They just fall into formation with the fleet and Janeway gives the order "Set a course, for home."

No afterparty, no follow-ups, no homecoming. Just Voyager flying towards Earth, fade to black.

Prison Break: Series 2.

As far as I'm concerned they got on the boat with the girl and the money and lived happily ever after.
Ya, this season blows harder than season three did. They should have just ended it at two. Or even one for that matter. The original concept was so cool.
Ending it at 2 was good. At one they left you tinking "Do they escape and stay out or get caught?" so I felt series 2 was neeeded.
Well, the way they chose to end the first season made the second season necessary. I'm saying that they could have just written the series to end with the first season by allowing the convicts to either escape or get caught. It didn't have to go on. They just wrote it that way.

Mystery Science Theatre 3000.

The ending episode was great, but... but...

...I didn't want it to end.

I wanted to cry when it finally sank in that there was never going to be another one.

And then, on top of that, Rifftrax decided to suck. I was devastated.
