Evangelion. Since the topic is involving shows only, I shouldn't point out the fact that I wanted to go out and hurt someone after I managed to force myself to finish the movie.(Hopefully they tone down the more mature themes in the live-action evangelion movie)

It was a TNG episode in disguise! It is insulting to the cast to not give them one final adventure, and just make a clip show of their future, killing off some of our favorites seemingly out of spite.

The way they practically erased Marissa Cooper just insulted me as a member of the viewing public. Jesus tapdancing Christ, it was bad enough you killed her off in such a lame way, couldn't you have at least given her an on-screen funeral? As much as I loved seeing more of Taylor Townsend, the show just dies after Marissa.

I would say just about any series in how they're aired over here in the Netherlands, just about always stopping halfway through the season.
Another one was Point Pleasant. I mean, come on! If you're going to make a fun, dark series like that, don't stop when things get really interesting...

I wish Heroes would just die and go out with dignity still intacked. Seriously the serious was just getting butchers by Season 2: Part two (when the writer's returned and it was put back on the air) like as soon as it turned into mutants being hunted by the government and evil mutants side, I just thought "This is a freakin' X-men clone now eff this game im done with it." It was always on the border line with x-men but something keep it from feeling like it for season 1 and half of season two.
I like how everybody complains about the Sopranos finale like it was just some random capricious directorial thing to do.
Go back and watch the final scene closely. Pay attention to what it is doing. It ends the way it does for a reason.
I don't see why it has to be one or the other. Mike et al were always better writers (cough, The TV Wheel [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_TV_Wheel]), but Joel and crew have a kind of ineffable stoned charm. I think they're both peachy.

It had no finale, it was sort of wrapped up by the movie, but it wasn't quite the same.chefassassin2 said:
