Worst video game weapon.

The worst weapon I can think of is the paper fan from Super Smash Bros, which did 1% damage per hit and had no knock-back power of any sort.

The cain in the old Jekyll and Hyde game on the NES. It's so useful it does absolutely no damage to anyone, brilliant.

Any weapon you get for Lulu in FFX is utter crap. Pretty much any weapon you get for any magic user in any FF game falls into this category though.

Well sure, if you use them to attack. That doesn't apply just to FF games but the whole RPG genre. Caster weapons just boost the power of the spells you use. A high level Lulu with 1mp cost and break damage limit could destroy anything.

I could go all sorts of obscure directions with this. I think I'm really just going to go for the Blinding Flash (or whatever) Equipment from Halo3.

There is no reason, ever, to use that. If you ever get into a situation where you think, "Oh! I should use a flash!", you are wrong.

The syringe/ anaesthetic in the Hitman games. Look, just get a suppressed pistol...

Edit: Seeing other posts, I have to agree; the Chinese Pistol in Fallout 3 was spectacularly rubbish.

Are you kidding me? I loved doping people up and tossing them out windows! Some levels the easiest way to get Silent Assassin was to sedate some guy and steal his clothes, you could kill him but then you don't get Silent Assassin.

Anywho! The worst weapon? Um.... Ever play Yahtzee's The Art of Theft? That Umbrella is crap. I mean if you go to another screen and come back they are suddenly reawakened but if you stay in that screen they stay out FOREVER! Its like the thing has a proxy alert to wake the guards up if you run off. If I put someone down and get my score docked for it, I want him to stay the hell down!

The scouts shotgun in TF2 when the other **** has scatterback or whatever it's called (knocks you back) it would be awesome to have one but its just so annoying.

You can't kill someone from the other side of a level by shooting their food with a suppressed pistol, can you now? Did you even know you can taint a target's food and drinks with the syringe, or are you the 'go in all guns blazing' type who never thought of that?

It doesn't go around. You aim at the guy, the rocket goes at the guy. Why do so many people hate half-life?
For me, I dunno. Probably absolutely everything from Metroid Prime 3 or Ratchet and Clank (3 onwards)

Whaaat?! You two must be mad. It staggers the enemy and can hit again before they recover. It's the easiest free 30-40% dmg you can get in the game!
