Would you clone yourself?

There are, of course, as many reasons to have cloned organs as there are organs. But as for a living being drawn exclusively from my DNA? There are multiple scenarios here, each of which must be addressed separately.

1) The realistic way (my DNA is to be taken and put inside an emptied egg cell, which would be grown into a baby the old fashioned way and raised): Maybe, if it were more like an anonymous donation of material than attempting to actually have a child, but probably not.

2) The science fiction way (Hey, here's another you!): No, that's just ridiculous. At best, the legal nightmare would take up way too much time, and at worst, my clone self steals my identity and... yeah.

3) The science fiction way 2 (Hey, here's another you, but this one's a girl!): This would actually be better, and not for the reasons it's used in fiction material. For one, we could actually have separate identities, and for another, the difference in living will eventually make the opposite sex clone a good second opinion - seeing as how they might actually think different than me, but still have the memory of my thought patterns. I still would more likely be against it, but it would be much easier to deal with.

4) Spare body sack (it's lifeless/mindless but complete): Yes. Why? Because - if something happens to the meatsack I'm currently in, I could be exported to it. Though I'd still be wary of it actually being #2 or #3 (I'd rather have an opposite sex backup than no backup at all, but I would have to question whoever made it on why the Y chromosome was lost).

Also, I was listening to Disposable Heroes when I saw and clicked on this thread. Just thought I should note the coincidence.

I might want a clone to fake a death (if I ever where to need it) its not as much worth as my life (its just a copy)

I would totally like to make as much clones of myself as possible, just to see what we can achieve together and how we backstab each other from time to time : D

If the clone would be a full human being then I surely wouldn't take parts of his body just to heal myself but it would be awesome if we could clone an eye for example, but only an eye and not the whole human.
I'm not sure if I would clone myself just to be here two times, especially not if the clone would want to get rid of me and take my place in society. Other than that why not?
