I don't think I would even hit a guy. Whenever I get ito fights I always try to restrain the person I'm fighting with and then try to calm them down or make a run for it.

How many times has this thread been on the Escapist now? Not a dig towards the OP, just an observation; I think this thread pops up at least 2 times a month on average.

Anyway, here's a pretty standard answer; YES. Seriously, the first fight I ever got into was with a girl (I'm a guy, by the way). I have no tolerance for violence towards me or mine; you hit me, I hit you. You hit me again, and I hit harder, etc ad infinitum until one of us is one the ground.

Notice how I never mentione gender. The rule applies to both gender's. In this, as they are in many things, they are the same to me.

In self defense, I have no problem hitting a girl. Hell, I'll hit as hard as can.

Escalating force. I'd push her away first, then restrain her, then hit her. If we start an all-out brawl, I'm Falcon Punching the *****.

Not in cold blood. But I wouldn't hit anybody without reason. I apply the same rules of striking somebody equally; male or female.

of course. if someone touches me and makes me uncomfortable, I make them stop. how much time and effort goes into this endeavor if fully up to them.

remember: kids, if someone touches you in a way or place that makes you feel uncomfortable; THATS NO-GOOD

Nah, I'm much worse than that. Man or woman, if you sissy-slap/scratch/push me... I will grab your wrist or forearm and twist almost immediately. If you struggle, I'll put you on your back with a little application of pain and leverage. I've been called a brutal asshole many a time for that. I find it amusing.

I dislike being hit by anyone. Girls don't normally attack me though. I usually respond with arm-twistin' when it comes to it.
