Considering I never dated anyone before, I would willing to give it a go.

I need more information before I can answer the question.

I understand the terms, I have used them in the past, but I don't understand the specific definitions the OP is using and I don't really know what the implications would be.

For example, when I hear "tomboy" I think of a girl who's probably athletic rather than "thin" and who likes awesome shit (cars, good music, sport, games, fantasy/sci-fi books, adventure activities) and is "out-doors-y". But I also assume she has a feminine appearance (facial bone structure and body shape) and probably feminine mannerisms.

I wouldn't think of an androgynous woman, or a elite level, tanned up body builder with dinner plate hands, a five o'clock shadow, and an Adams apple which could poke out my eye.

I guess what I'm saying is that, to me, tomboy implies that someone has certain hobbies and interests, and nothing else. I know a girl who both models clothes and is a cheerleader (yes after high school) who has blonde highlights and cares about how she looks a fuck load (more than necessary), but I think of her as a tomboy because she loves hiking, camping, fishing and sport.

Really just depends. I couldn't see myself dating some girly girl that really shows no interest in what I'm doing but I don't think I'd go for an extremely masculine gun fanatic either. I generally find tomboys attractive but that's probably more-so that I really couldn't get along with a "typical girl" for the most part and I find rebellious/breaking the mold girls all the more attractive.

I'm bisexual but I'm only really attracted to masculine traits. So yeah, I'd date a tomboy, but not a tomgirl. I'm not interested in stereotypically girly traits, regardless of whether they're in a dude of a girl.

Yes to both, altough I probably wouldn't even bother trying to start a relationship with anyone in the first place.

Considering all of the girls I've been with so far have all been at least a little tomboyish, yeah I'm fine with it.

As long as I find them attractive and I enjoy their personality I don't really care if they're a bit girly. Hey it'll probably means he shaves his armpits and I'm all for that.

Actually, I'd *rather* date a tomboy than a stereotypical girl.

More fun to be had, less emotional bullshit, etc.

Hell, my dream girls are usually either tomboys or the shy Hanako/Fluttershy/Hinata Hyuga-type girls.

No. But I could easily be friends with one. But relationship just about requires physical attraction, and I simply am not attracted to one.

If the tomboy in question has a personality you could bounce coins off of, then sure.
If we connect on an intellectual level, I couldn't care less what she is (within reason, naturally).

I greatly prefer women with strong independent minds, a trait often associated with "tomboys". So, yes.

There are other criteria as well, but conforming to society's idea of what a girl should act like is not among them.
