Part of the reason I made this because I saw Quintin Reviews videos on the History Channel, where he talks about:

2012/Doomsday Documentaries that were just clickbait TV fearmongering. And this one hits home for me because I was once scared of this shit.

And bad, sensationalist Nazi/Hitler Documentaries:

You know this actually reminded me of a Dean Koontz novel with time traveling nazis. But they were traveling from the past to the future to....I think do recon and learn who to take out so they didn't lose? Or maybe get advanced tech and take it back? I forget. The story revolved around a woman who kept having a mysterious benefactor show up at various points in her life to help her. Turned out he was from the past, was...I think he was a part of the nazi party, or at least part of the time travel team or something....but, a good guy basically. He met her on one of his scouting missions in the future, but she was in a wheelchair. She was an author IIRC. And he was basically smitten with her. He learned she was paralyzed since birth, due to a drunk doctor botching her delivery, so time traveling not-nazi love interest, went back to that point, and prevented the doctor from delivering her. He then kept popping up over the course of her life, to make sure she stayed healthy. Oh and because he was on the run from time traveling nazi's since he defected from them.

Interesting book, and oddly similar to this "history".

Keep in mind, that the whole aliens were involved with ancient civilization bull crap started from racism. From white people that couldn't handle or didn't want to believe that there are other people of color that were just advanced or more advanced than them. Whether those white people be from Europe or America. I never ever gave that shitty show the time of day. Not once, and I am glad. It really showed how decayed the history channel became. I know after that series started appearing, I never wanted to touch the history channel ever again.

The only History Channel show I was really into was Monster Quest, but now I wonder if it will hold up at all if I give it a re-watch.

And regards to the Racist angle, I am a bit disturbed that the racism would even go as far as to deny something as concrete as the Ancient Egyptians being incapable of making their own accomplishments in architecture and such without it being blamed by white people aliens.

What always got me the most was the assertion that it should have been impossible to build pyramids because they were too big and impressive, and how could they lift the blocks without cranes? In spite of the fact that pyramids are basically very fancy inclined planes - ie, the thing you build when you want to raise something up without having to lift it. If a person can think up the idea of a pyramid, they can conceive of half a pyramid with a lower slope to make it with. Made worse by the fact that they DID have cranes, it just makes more sense to use a ramp since its easier and doesn't really require maintenance.
