Ah yes, the three legendary dogs (Suicune is more of a cat but whatever), they were fun to catch. Raikou was my favourite and helped to balance out my party HoHo and Lugia were strong Fire/Water types (except Lugia wasn't really water, was it?).

Lugia is Psychic/Flying, but known as the "Diving Pokemon"

That (probably) explains why it learns so many water moves

Unfortunately, Entei is rather pathetic compared to Suicune and Raikou. It has an amazing attack stat, that is largely wasted with the almost complete absance of any decent physical fire attacks. Sure, it has some awsome special attacks, but those are largely wasted on its pathetic special attack. It does have about a bajillion hit points compared to the others, and with its defences, is about as close as you can come to a 'bulky fire', however, like I said, Dont waste your time with it.

Heck, giving entie flare blitz would probably push it all the way up to OU with its retardedly high attack stat and great speed rating. The only thing really holding it back is its moveset.

He keeps damage from every battle, so just find him, do some damage, find him again and continue until you can catch him. DO NOT USE THE MASTER BALL! Save it for Mewtwo.
