I think the authors are being unfairly inaccurate, even though comedy is supposed to throw accuracy under the bus. The Internet is full of jerks because they know they'll meet few of the offended in real life. The worst consequence they'll suffer is being banned from a forum. Whereas only friends and relatives get to enter a living room. Friends and relatives who are still jerks exist but a company can be forgiven for ignoring that proportion.


Until office PCs are voice activated and someone shouts that and runs off. Or "Delete current file, confirm!"
