It's not the 3 modes that mean anything, but it shows that
It's waaaaaay too soon to actually say whether or not it will actually affect ME3, but it seems quite often that when games try and be more than one thing, they kinda end up screwing up...kinda like how the movie Red State made me want to punch a small child in anguish over the fact of just how bad it was.
And like I said, I'll still go out and buy the game myself.
Isn't the modes that mean anything, it's the fact that it shows that they are focusing alot on trying to draw multiple groups of people into the series at once. It'd be like if Call Of Duty suddenly had a pause in Multiplayer matches so that the RPG fans could have story driven conversations with a nearby rock.Richardplex said:They are appeasing everyone in a way that doesn't cut out features for the core group, such as how streamlining does? *Facepalm*...feels like Bioware actually took a step BACK in progress this time. Honestly I think it MIGHT be what ruins the final game (or at least one of it's flaws), since it now shows that they're trying more to appease EVERYONE, and less about trying to make a awesome sequel that appeases the original fans who did flock out en'masse to buy ME1 and ME2.
Don't get me wrong, I have faith, and I'll still probably go out and buy the game to see how it all ends. But hopefully Bioware didn't make any mistakes by trying to appeal to everyone at once, which would prevent them from making a single solid game focus.
