Your opinion dude. I thought they were alright games.JemJar said:He gets his best ratings on bad-mouthing games which have received widespread good reviews and yet are not enjoyed by gamers that much - Biosh*$k and GTA4 for example.blackcherry said:He is payed to badmouth games. You can see from the popularity of certain reviews, that when he injects actual real venom into his comments on games then the viewing figures are a lot higher than say, if he praises a game.
As such, well hes taken to bad mouthing everything in sight regardless of likes or dislikes, which is showing. Meanwhile he invests the paycheck elsewhere.
Of course, this is my opinion alone. Please don't be offended.

I liked Mirrors Edge.

I agree. GTA4 was highly overrated. As are all GTA games.blackcherry said:Your opinion dude. Well thats all I ever used the GTA games for, which is why I have never owned a copy, instead playing a mates version. As to your opinion, are you agreeing with me or JemJar?dontworryaboutit said:I had trouble believing his description of the morphine mode in Velvet Assassin so I looked it up on google.

Although maybe that's because all I ever used them for is killing everyone.
Especially yuppies though.
By that same logic, if you watched The Matrix Reloaded without seeing the first film, you can't criticise the story because you didn't get the backstory, and you can't call it a crappy film because The Matrix revolutionised the industry.Vrex360 said:I disaprove of how he bashes Halo 3 without giving any credible reason, the story seemed basic to him as he did not play the backstory,
the gameplay was average only because he didn't realise that the first Halo revolutionised the formula,
I really doubt his opinion would have changed if he had played multiplayer.and because he only played one part of it he has no right to complain about how the game had 'so little'
The best sequels should have plots that are excellent in their own right; not just addendums to the previous story, which Halo 3's plot essentially was (See those aliens from Halo and Halo 2? They're invading Earth now!).scnj said:Why do people think Halo 3 should have a standalone plot? It's Halo 3. The third game in the trilogy. It's pretty obvious that it's gonna be picking up plot points from the previous two games.
Errrm...Call me stupid, but didn't you just contradict yourself?scnj said:Why do people think Halo 3 should have a standalone plot? It's Halo 3. The third game in the trilogy. It's pretty obvious that it's gonna be picking up plot points from the previous two games.
Honestly, that's like watching Return of the Jedi and complaining that it didn't spend 20 minutes recapping everything that happened in the Empire Strikes Back.
You. You do exactly what I do.blackcherry said:Well thats all I ever used the GTA games for, which is why I have never owned a copy, instead playing a mates version. I agree, even though it was my kind of humour I found little even smile worhty. Stuff that sounded funny on paper failed to amuse me in execution. I also disagree with Yahtzee's "I hope we're not so jaded that we can't allow a few gameplay issues to get in the way of a game that's actualy fun" when it wasn't a FEW issues.Khazoth said:Why did I hate Psychonauts? Maybe hate was a strong word but overall games like Psychonauts and Portal are exactly alike.
Both games have to have their comedy connect with you.
I found Portal funny.
I found Psychonauts boring.
Its all opinion and comedy styles in the end.
