My opinions.

- Halo is one of, if not the best video game series of all time.

- The Matrix trilogy is one of the best Sci-Fi series ever.

- The Village was a great movie.

- There is nothing wrong with incest.

The End.

I wasn't that pleased with Episode 3, but that was more of a "you bastards" thing than a whole lot else. Anakin did feel kind of over-the-top emo with his shtick, but I don't have much else to ***** about from there. I was just really pissed off watching Plo Koon (the guy with the mask in the Jedi fighter) getting shot at and making no visible efforts to evade the shots. The highlight of my prequel experience was Darth Maul, which subsequently sparked a man crush for Maul's actor Ray Park (one of the Reptiles in the MK: Armageddon movie and Snake Eyes in the recent GI Joe reboot for a couple references). I don't know what was so bad ass about him to me, but it has resulted in a wish for a "what if" of if Maul had won, or at least escaped, the battle on Naboo. Also an incredible attraction to the Zabrak species as a society of all-around bad asses.

I had one former roommate reference the Prequels as "A great documentary" which I now realize was a pretty stupid comment. If you were going to call it anything, it would be "a great Lucas self-pleasure kick" given that he went nuts with all the resources he didn't have for the original trilogy. Still, I liked it. Hated Episode 2, but that's because in that big, dark movie theater, the constant lighting change from bright deserts to dark caves made my eyes sore for about three days afterward.

I also like Linkin' Park too. I didn't know that was an interest that got you looked at weird now. Not too fond of Thousand Suns' feature song "The Catalyst" but I'd need to listen to Minutes to Midnight and Thousand Suns to see if I even still care.

I, too, liked the originalPREQUEL Star Wars trilogy. Sure, they weren't perfect...but yeah. Jedis. Honestly, if they'd left the midichlorians out of it,
Fixed that for ya

There's not many things that I like that other people don't, but just off the top of my head:

- I prefer Jpop over any other type of music. Always have, ever since middle school.

- I like Hetalia and am disgusted with the amount of hate it receives. It was a brilliant idea back in 2008 when it was conceived and still is to this day no matter what anyone says. Haters gonna hate.

- I never got in to Halo. I didn't understand the appeal, but maybe I was just not looking hard enough.

- I prefer games like Layton and Ace Attorney to shooting games. For me, logic is what keeps me interested.

- Twilight is average. It's not commendable by any means, but it's not crappy enough that it wouldn't garner as much attention as it has. It's mediocre, at best.

That's about it.

Why do you do that? Seriously? It made the entire post extremely difficult to read and I know for a fact that it is more difficult for you to type things like that than to type out the entire word.
Thank you. Now I don't have to say that.

I liked Avatar.

That's right, I think it should've won the oscar over the Hurt Locker, plain and simple. Was it original? No. But it reminded me and all my friends the reason we go to the movies, to have an experience, to escape the regular world for a couple hours and enjoy jumping in a more colorful and interesting one. People make James Cameron out to look like Michael Bay or Roland Emerich even though he's made some of the best action/sci-fi movies over the years including: Terminator 1 and 2, The Abyss, Titanic, Aliens, and yes even Avatar. He used a simple story so that one could bask in the enjoyment that the visuals caused. Were the visuals first and foremost? Yes, but they looked damn good, and anyone who doesn't think so is a liar. I know people who didn't like it who saw it twice, and the fact that people are still talking about it, positively or negatively, shows that James Cameron did something right. God bless you James Cameron, and may Avatar 2 (or Avatars?) be just as, if not, more enjoyable than the first.

Metallica's S&M is still my favorite album of all time.

I also didn't think Load/Reload were awful by any means.

- I like Reality TV. Love it. I like to judge the psychology of the contestants and read between the lines on how it is scripted to manipulate an audience.
- I like iCarly. I watch Kim Possible and Spongebob. I like any teen/kids show that reminds me of the optimism of youth because I'm acutely aware of how it fades with age.
- I love most Ke$ha songs. And I know exactly why they annoy people. But I love the abnoxious attitude of them.
- I like almost all of the Star Trek games I've played - Tactical Assault on DS and Legacy on Xbox 360. I pretend there's more going on than really is and don't care about the story but love the strategy and space combat.
- I like the Phantom Menace. Although I hated it when I first saw it. I now can appreciate it for what it is. (I still don't like the other two).
- I think Jiggypuff is cool precisely because of how uncool Jigglypuff is.
- I love Halo 2. Love it. Best game of the series. One of the best games I ever played. One of the few sequels that did not disappoint me. Apart from the first stage, the level design on that game is amazing. I liked ODST too. Not the story, but the feel of the game.
- Adam West is the definitive Batman.

I watched Uwe Bolls Postal several times and I loved it. There could be no better way how to make movie out of that game.
I wont start talking about games that are shitty and I still like them because then I would be here a whole day.

I have to cast serious question on your tastes. But as far as liking something that received widespread condemnation?

Well, if Metacritic is to be believed, Victoria has no business in my top ten all-time favorite games list.

See, i was cool (not agreeing with necessarily, but perfectly cool with) with all the things you mentioned, up until this one...

while i'm still not sayin' you're wrong (as that would eliminate the entire purpose of this forum), i still say that my favorite on-screen Batman is Micheal Keaton....or, (if he counts) Kevin Conroy because anything Batman related he has to do with is just GOLD!!!

I'm not going into too much detail because it is my opinions here and I don't have to explain myself.

I think that FF IV, VI, IX, XII, and XIII are good while the rest is shit. *raises flame shield*

I like the new Transformers movies.

I like the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

I like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I like Gundam SEED/Destiny

I like Halo 3 ODST.

I like Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions

I like both Force Unleashed games.

I like the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels.

And FUCK everyone who tries to tell me different and convince others instead of letting them form their own opinions.

I've got something I hate that people seem to love!

Inception. I have many reasons for this.

- Leonardo DiCaprio is, and always has been, an utter tool. He has never made a good movie, in my opinion. Titanic was boring and long-winded, Shutter Island was basically "They woke up and it was a dream", Catch Me If You Can was a jumbled mess, and the only good thing about The Departed was "Shipping Up To Boston" by Dropkick Murphys.

- The ending which EVERYONE knows by now, was entirely unnecessary. I'm sorry, but why couldn't they have wrapped it up instead of trying to be all deep and give the plot a few extra possibilities? It was just a terrible idea that was SOOOOO cliché.

- The movie idea in general was so iffy. Stealing/planting ideas from/into people's dreams? Seriously? No. Just plain ridiculous.

Oh, if you say "Oh, you obviously just didn't understand it hurr hurr derp!", no, fuck off, I understood perfectly what was going on, it was just overrated SHIT.
I'm going to bring up an issue with your second two points there, because while you're entitled to your opinion on Leonardo di Caprio's acting ability, and I agree to an extent, the ending to Inception was there to keep the film in people's minds, it wasn't a few extra possibilities, it was a black and white "The world is/isn't a dream" left ambiguous to stick in your mind. People have just blown it out of proportion by overthinking it.

Secondly, many other movies/books/comics/games can be called "Just plain ridiculous" if the idea is taken down to the core elements: Batman is a guy in a costume beating people up, Lord of the Rings is people getting in trouble while trying to break a ring, Shadow of the Colossus is a guy killing big things.
All of them when taken at face value are just plain ridiculous, but that doesn't stop the rest of the pieces from being good.

I respect your opinions here, and I'm not saying they're wrong, because they're opinions, I'm just asking you look at things a on little bigger scale or from a different perspective and reconsider.

OT: Actually, nearly all of the things on your list there, OP, I've given their chance, and have disliked. I didn't think Episode III was that bad, but was dragged down by what was set out previously in the prior two films. I don't like Ke$ha and Kanye because I don't like the way their music sounds. I read all of the Twilight books and loathed them not just because they got vampires terribly wrong, or the bad writing, or the implausible plot and one dimensional characters, or the fandom. I hated it because of all those things combined (excluding the fandom) are what make a bad book. I disliked the second two Matrix films because they were pretty poorly made. I can't say I hate all boybands, but a fair few of them simply aren't my kind of thing.
I can't pass judgement on Dick Grayson Batman, or Smallville because I never really paid much attention to them.

I don't judge you for having those opinions, that's what you think, and so be it, feel free to like and dislike what you want.

Personally, right now I can't think of much that I like that most don't except being a sucker for RomComs, enjoying Glee and not minding Halo much.

I thought Bioshock 2 had better story and gameplay than the first. You may now pelt me with stones.
I nearly agree with you. But I felt that BioShock 1 had a better story than two, but 2 had a more original story than 1. How is that so? Simple, BioShock had ripped off the whole story to System Shock 2, so the first game story it was something that I had already experienced. BioShock 2 is superior than 1 just because of that, at least for me.
