Will this be brilliant or terrible? Hmmm... Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future. But...If in the game Yoda is, at least one good point, does it have, hmmm. Buy it I will, As enjoy the fist game, I did.

Um.......i dont think FU2 is canon...
With an acronym like that...
Hey, the first game had an even better acronym: STFU. If you count StarWars as one word, that is.

Sadly, the only Star Wars game I currently have is Jedi Academy, not sad because it's not good, but sad because there's only one of it.
If you like that, you'll probably also like it's prequel: Jedi Outcast. Hell, I think there's some kind of package (best of PC or something) which has Outcast as well as Republic Commando (one of the best FPSs ever, imo), KotOR (one of the best RPGs, Star Wars or otherwise, ever. A shame it's sequel wasn't there too), and Battlefront (not as good as it's sequel, but still great fun). Hell, the only part that isn't really worth it is Empire at War (I'm not good with RTSs, can anyone confirm if that was actually a good RTS? I somehow doubt it).

Those graphics are pretty sick. Anyway, Yoda does have a pretty big part I think. He talks all throughout the teaser, so he probably becomes Starkiller's mentor at some point.

Fingers crossed this game doesn't suck ass like the first.

Yes I know, my point was even tho Starkiller died at the end of the canon ending, he would be able to come back as a Force Spirit. Keeping it in line with the Emperor's "He's more powerful than ever." speech at the end.

Force Ghosts can't really do that. It was just thrown in for fun in the non-canonical DLC for the game.

The "he's more powerful than ever" line was about how he had become a symbol of hope for the rebellion. Palpatine went on to say that they have to crush the rebellion quickly, or it would be their undoing.

Luke is the last hope of the Jedi... Except the hundred other Jedi wandering around the galaxy.
Luke is the one destined to be The Most Powerful Jedi Ever.
But he's not their last hope is he? The Jedi would continue without Luke and Leia. They'd just be weaker. Its impossible to ever completely crush the Jedi/Sith because they live in a GALAXY. Its impossible to track every single force sensative.

Makes you wonder about the entire point of even having them. Maybe Starkiller "Alpha" will hang around the Starkiller "Beta" like Obi-Wan did with Luke.

Sure, but none of them were in a state where they could defeat the Empire and re-establish the Jedi Order.

The point of them is basically that the Jedi get to retain their identities even after their "deaths", and have a way of passing on their knowledge to Jedi they would have otherwise been unable to make contact with.

Now, as I recall, Starkiller left behind a dead body, so I doubt he'd have a "ghost". He may be powerful, but it was Qui-Gon's wisdom that enabled him to reach that state even after his death. It'd be an interesting idea, though, and might be why Starkiller "Beta" recovered his memories to begin with. The "ghost" somehow put them in there while the clone was sleeping in its pod.

When Vader died in Return of the Jedi he became a ghost even tho his body remained intact. I suspect Obi-Wan vanished as he did because a more realistic death by lightsaber scene would mean the movie couldnt have been rated PG.

Maybe Alpha possesed Beta?

Wait wait wait...they cloned him? How is this the same Starkiller then? Seriously...this is a universe with an afterlife and such, what about the soul of the original Starkiller?

When someone who's strong with the force dies their spirit might linger on, it may however also find a new body to inhabit. The Emperor did this after he was thrown down the shaft in the Death Star. Vader must have created a couple of clones before Starkiller died.

On a side note: I hate this new The Force Unleashed storyline; whether it's canonical or not. They've really done everything in their power to degrade almost all of the IPs classic characters by having Starkiller humiliate/defeat them just so that you as a player can feel powerfull, all in the name of bad-assery.
And worst of all, there isn't a story to tell here, the plot is just an excuse to see a dude with a lightsaber defeat hordes of stormtroopers, etc, without breaking a sweat.
Why must everything be so overexagerated these days? Couldn't they just have made this reimagination into an alternative universe or just have it set in another time like KotOR?
That way it wouldn't mess-up any of the original characters nor would it ruin the plot.

Star Wars is ruined forever. But I guess people say that all the time...
