I wouldn't use it for relationships. I'm not insane. I would use it on politicians and corporate CEO's mostly. If I wanted to change the world by being in the center of attention, I'd ask to be a quantum being like Dr. Manhattan.

You may say you're not stupid, but the power to control a persons mind on a whim is a form of absolute power.

Think about it, a friend doesn't want to do something that you think is completely reasonable and they are the only one who can do it. Surely you would be tempted. Also by controlling politics and CEOs you're becoming the forced consensus and forcing your will on the people. I don't think someone who thinks they are above temptation is fit to be a tyrant.

The ability to understand something to the most ridiculous level just at a glance and know how to improve it. You would advance the human race dozens, if not hundreds, of years technologically and you'd pretty much be able to waltz into any job and do it better than anyone ever could.

Seriously, what good is it being able to fly and shoot lasers when it comes down to actually having a nice life?

Easy, Reality Manipulation. If I can imagine it, I can make it happen. Gravity, Hot, Cold, Time, Space all controllable. Hell even my own form would be malleable.

Eternal Life. I'd live as a hermit after awhile. I want to see humanity fall someday I feel that it would be a beautiful thing when it finally happens (I.E by meteor or nuclear bomb,) I don't want it to happen but I'd watch if it did. I find destruction beautiful.

EDIT: It kinda makes me cringe when people are like OH LOOK AT THIS CHARACTER I WANT TO BE THEM IF I HAD SUPERPOWERS BUT HER BOOBS ARE TOO SMALL. NO the question was what superpower would you want not what character do you want to be. Fangirls/boys everywhere lol.

Problems: Invulnerability, can you still feel? (See: Rising Stars (I think), one of the characters had invulnerability, basically a force field about 1/4 inch from his skin at all times. Couldn't feel a friend's touch, couldn't shake hands cause he couldn't gauge the pressure on the field, and crushed hands, ect. Ended up a massive overeater and 'suicided'.)

Mindreading: How does it help if what you read is 'wow, what a loser'? You still have to DO something with it.
Mind Control: As stated before, total relationship destroyer
Time control: Remember that 'Twilight Zone' where the guy had a watch that stopped time? What happens in the 'learning phase' of your control when you forget how to start time again?


Having said that, I'm totally going with time control. Walk into Vegas, throw dice, walk out rich, and the dice are fine, so they can't say anything.

Fine. I'll take the powers of the Flash and I don't mean streaking. I mean, the guy can move and react at near light speed and even break the laws of physics, he really should be more feared.

Flash is the most powerful being in the entire DCU. The faster he runs, the more dense his body gets and the more heavy his punches become. If he reaches a fast enough velocity, his punches would have the same impact of being hit with all the mass in the entire universe.

Trivia.

Uh... can't Superman use the Infinite Mass technique too? and has super-strength on top of it?

OT: Absolute Mimicry. It's like acting, but as a superpower. Not merely copying anything I heard or saw done, I could copy anything and anyone and be virtually indistinguishable from the original (including any memories, mannerisms, abilities, and secrets they would hold), while still retaining my own self and consciousness. Even better, as an Absolute, I wouldn't be limited to copying things that actually exist. For example, I could act like Superman and literally become Superman, with all of his powers and skills to control and use them. Naturally this would bear the risk of "losing myself in the role", as actors often do, so I would have to practice to retain my ability to "turn it off" and become myself again... and I'm ok with that; it gives me something else to do.

I could jump out of airplanes without a parachute.
I could run through traffic.
I could calmly walk through burning buildings.
I could rewire my house without turning off the electricity.
I'd never need to use oven mitts ever again.
I could go to Africa to pet the adorable lions.

I could do everything normal people are afraid of doing.

You could be locked into a stone coffin for centuries, slowly going insane in the dark, unable to end the torment...
You could watch everything you care about rot into dust...
Being safe yourself doesn't do much in my opinion unless it is also paired with the ability to act.

OT: intuitive aptitude

My first act with this ability? unlock the secrets behind creating a highly adaptable horde of nanites. Use them to mimic other powers, start solving world's material and energy supply problems, construct GTO elevator cables using CO2...

If I had a power, it would be simple, Complete Mind Manipulation abilities.

I could conquer the world and enforce the ideas of true peace where everyone is kind and thoughtful of eachother, rebuilding the world from the hell its in now to a perfectly pure merry consciousness with me ruling it!
