Also saying you don't want these riffs in your life time is pretty selfish. This whole hate thing is over the top, I didn't like him and his music at first but I realised he is just an entertainer and he made so many people happy with his awesome dancing.

To be honest, I don't recall watching Mad Max or Apocolypse Now, but it's rather because I'm more into the internet and computer games than TV and films.

Yeah it didn't surprise me so much they hadn't SEEN them. Being A little aged they are usually on at like 1 in the morning if at all on TV. It was more the fact they had not even heard of the series at all that got me. Most every post-apocalyptic setting has the flavour of Mad Max in there somewhere.
