You get to greenlight a sequel to any game that has ever existed. Which game do you choose?

I would have to see a pitch doc before I greenlight anything.

I mean, what if someone greenlit an X-Com sequel, and the developers decided to turn it into a crappy generic shooter?

I'd love a sequel to F-Zero GX, but we all know Nintendo will never do it.

Imagine F-Zero GX, but on the Wii U, with even prettier HD graphics, online multiplayer for 30 players, better customization, and even more mind bending tracks. I could die happy if this ever happened.

Got to admit there's a lot here that I hadn't thought of but after reading I've gone "YES!" so many good games in need of a sequel, but there's only one option in my eyes. One option that needs a sequel so badly - Shenmue. I've been waiting for Shenmue 3 for years, I don't care what console it's on, if they do it as a movie, book, comic, whatever, I just want Shenmue 3!

There are so many games I loved that didn't have sequels.

To me right now it's a toss up between F-Zero GX, Baten Kaitos Origins, and Custom Robo. All of which were awesome, none of which had sequels.

F-Zero GX was absolutely the best and most challenging racing game ever and still one of my favorite games of all time.

Baten Kaitos Origins was a unique RPG with a great story, an interesting world, unique and fun gameplay, and stunning visuals. They need to make a sequel.

Custon Robo was one of the most fun multiplayer battle games I've ever played. It was fun, action packed, hunorus, and very unique. Also goes in my top favorite games ever. Actually, I think they did make a sequel for the DS... it was okay, but they need to make another.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. I only need to say this because Swinging Ape WAS making a second one, but then Blizzard bought them out and shut them down... </3 Also, because it was a great game, lots of run and gun action, interesting characters, amazing locals and graphics (for the GameCube!) and ZombieBots that made me crap my pants when I was 14...and Christ, now I feel really old. The difficulty some times could be like running headlong into a brick wall, and LAN parties were great with it around, and now I feel even older to be talking about LAN parties... still, Metals Arms 2: Glitch in Another System (or whatever) would be great! Oh yeah, and the cliffhanger at the end for a sequel that would never come out was almost as bad as Beyond Good and Evil, but they're making a second one of those so to hell with it.

Kingdom Hearts 3, cut the Final Fantasy XIII-2 and other XIII games, cept for versus, since that's loooong underway, and get to the freakin money makers. The multi-million copy selling game series that got a lot of fans into the Square. PLEASE, make it good, don't mess it up.

Oh man, I am so samefeel.bro

That's why I applied the situation, though, to see if you'd be wiling to subject it to whimsy of fate just to have it made.

thats a hard one, but im not in the mood for serious pondering so ill just give it to the first thing that poped in my head which is republic commando
THIS. Definitely this. Game took the best of Halo, the best of Star Wars, took away the idea that a Star Wars had to give you a lightsaber to be awesome, and then left us with a plot
just begging for a sequel, though not as brazenly as did Halo 2. Not to mention that it had some of the best locations and areas to fight and to be in. The atmosphere was the best of any Star Wars game period stop.

So f-ing yes, make a sequel to Republic Commando.

Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf 2. I absolutely loved the first game which blended stealth, problem solving and childhood memories (actually i still watch looney toons sometimes) into one fantastic game.
