But just for the people he doesn't like.
What kind of people would Jack's like and think twice about before fucking their shit up? XD
Well let's just say he's walking along, and some dude attacks him.
His shit is now fucked.
Some wolves pounce on him?
Their shit is now fucked.
A blacksmith has his prices too high?
He considers fucking his shit, but then decides to loot some dungeons and make some extra cash.

I generally end up with at least 3 or 4 characters to cover the races I want to cover which is generally khajiit, argonian, breton/dunmer or Nord. Then my character is usually stealth and/or magic based, with heavy reliance on the skills that make theft and assassination easy. It depends on how the levelling system works out for me before I can say any specifics.

In Oblivion magic was the most tedious one to train up so I would specialise in magic with one or two stealth skils and the magic then took care of my stealth interests and combat.

Occasionally I'm a warrior (very rare) but its too boring to be a straight warrior so I mix it up with stealthy skills.

Probably a High elf mage, just like in Oblivion.

Might not be too fitting for the setting, but the close combat system would need a very extensive overhaul from the past game before I'd even consider looking it it's direction, and I'm pretty set in my ways anyway.

Race: Weak bitches Breton

Name: Magely

Ideal facial details: Beard, if they let women have beards for once. Otherwise a scar, as long as they have scars that actually do what scars do and look ugly.

Sex: Female

Skill Specialty and Combat Style: All magic skills. She uses magic to fight.

Star Sign/Birth Sign: Assuming race/star bonuses are as they were before, Breton/Apprentice should still be the best way to go.

Allegiance / Guilds or Groups: Magic stuff. She likes magic.

Other personal roleplay information: She really, really hates killing wolves- maybe in a past life she spent almost ALL OF HER GODDAMN TIME killing wolves- so she doesn't, ever. Not a wolf will die at her hands.

To then sell the spoils back to this overpriced Blacksmith at his own damn overpriced rate for profit.. and a sense of smug satisfaction that you just took his money for some sweaty, dirty, overused blunt axe who you just took from a prick whom, assumedly, just got his shit fucked?

hmmmm lets see,

Male Dunmer called Daredhnu, he'll have some form of facial tattoo or marking if possible like in morrowind, he'll be a combination of stealth and magic (mostly to further buff my stealth play) i'm not completely settled yet on which star sign i'll take just yet, i do know that my primary associations will be with the thiefs guild or assassins guild and the mages guild (for ease of spell access)

i'll try to play him as a no nonsense kind of thief/assassin making the most practical choices and generally try and play him as a professional, i won't go on wanton killing sprees for the hell of it, this time i want to have a plausible in world explanation for everything he does, i will be trying not to make any decisions out of character or with real world knowledge. (easier for a first playthrough)

that's it basically

Pretty much, yeah. With that kind of attitude, I think that you could be good friends with him.

An adventurer that does some random good deeds. Also, he might save the world or something.

Nice ideas man, yeah a bit of roleplay is almost always a good thing for the experience. Also just gotta say, you joined the escapist in 2004 and only have 33 forum posts? Well, I'm almost humbled that you deemed my thread worthy of your post then. ^^ haha thanks

Having seen the awesome Khajiit models; probably a Khajiit assassin. He'll goes around stabbing people he doesn't like from the shadows, especially argonians! Actually, probably just people the Dark Brotherhood ask him to go around stabbing. Better stealth = better dark brotherhood quests; there were some excellent stealth missions for the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild in Oblivion; I hope those kind make more of an impact; some of the later Dark Brotherhood ones were especially blegh...

hm, was the Dark Brotherhood introduced in Oblivion or was the group present in Morrowind as well? Because it's got me thinking, if it was conceptualized for Oblivion, hopefully there will be a new and interesting guild or group unique to Skyrim too. Not that the Dark Brotherhood aren't awesome in their own right lol.

Race: Dunmer (Dark elf)
Name: Efcaz (don't ask)
Ideal facial details: Scar down face over right eye. (same face as Jiub [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-npc-Jiub.jpg] from Morrowind)
Sex: Male
Skill: Blades, Heavy Armour, Healing and Destruction magic.
Birth Sign: The Shadow (For Stealing)
Allegiance / Guilds or Groups: Blades? Fighters.

Other personal roleplay information:

I guess he's always been "Chaotic Neutral"

Same main character from Morrowind and Oblivion

Tried to recreate my original Efcaz on Morrowind A while ago:Here [http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/cne/cne_viewchar.php?id=1566]

Didn't get far with that character before something messed up and the save got corrupted :(
But theres a picture and a general idea.

Also, going to play through the entire mainquest and complete each of the guild story lines (maybe not all with one character) Before I even glance at UESP.

That site (although I love it) ruined oblivion for me by making it even easier.

Dvid the Nord Lord. He's a nord as you may have guessed and he specialises in light armour and blades and is a big ol' fighters guild bloke. Always my first character. I'll do a Khajit character when I've got into the game a bit more.

It was the first time, as far as I'm aware, you were allowed to join them; previously in Morrowind you could work for the Morag Tong, who were basically Imperial-sanctioned assassins. I felt the Dark Brotherhood questline in Oblivion was good in theory, but later on it didn't feel that well executed. With better stealth technology and fewer omniscient AI, I'm hoping stealth is a more executable approach in Skyrim; providing guards don't broadcast their murder to the whole world as soon as you hit them (one of the worst things about Oblivion)

Woh! so much awesome. ^^ What race is that supposed to be, it looks like maybe an Argonian battlemage with light armor? Then again, the drawing is probably not Elder Scrolls related so if that's the case just ignore me lol. =p

Race: Nord

Name: Rhaeja

Ideal facial details? Blue eyes, Blonde hair (as I am in real life), maybe some Tattoo's and woad if anything looks really good during character creation.

Sex:Female

Skill: I think I'm gonna start of with the classic Longsword and Shield combo to start, gather some minor skill in archery, since i hear it's going to be pretty good in Skyrim. maybe dabble in some minor magic. But for me it's going to be hack and stab until i get my hands on the game itself.

Star Sign/Birth Sign: Again no solid decisions until i see the perks, but since i was a Warrior sign in Oblivion i'm going to tentatively put it here.

Allegiance: Myself first and foremost, as much as i am aware in the beginning i've just managed to escape from my own execution so i'm not to keen to make friends until i orientate myself to that.

Other personal roleplay information: Todd Howard has said that you are arrested in the beginning of the game after crossing the boarder from cyrodil in the skyrim, but no reason is given. I'm going to go for a hunting trip across the boarder :)

In short, a Nord who likes to stab things, like a boss.

Name: Sev'rr
Race: Female Khajiit
Class: Thresher (focus on melee and stealth with a few conjuration spells to distract/dispatch foes)
-(Have to see what chargen's like before I can even begin to speculate on unique facial features, and no set plans on pursuing any particular guild... currently.)-

Have a rather lengthy bio in mind, but simply put:

She grew up a slave in Morrowind at the Dren Plantation. Essentially liberated herself through stealth and a blade, but after felling all the guards and Dren himself, was beset and subdued by a small group of off-duty guards looking to supply a soon-to-be-wed buddy with a plaything, and was subsequently jailed. Due to the large bounty (12+ counts of murder, including one of the off-duty guards, and the theft of the plantation's head-warden's daedric daikatana), she was sentenced to death... Dren's regulars didn't quite approve of things, naturally, so they began to publicly seek out the Dark Brotherhood, which prompted the desperate reaction of carting her off to Skyrim...
