Race: Nord

Name: Rhaeja

Ideal facial details? Blue eyes, Blonde hair (as I am in real life), maybe some Tattoo's and woad if anything looks really good during character creation.

Sex:Female

Skill: I think I'm gonna start of with the classic Longsword and Shield combo to start, gather some minor skill in archery, since i hear it's going to be pretty good in Skyrim. maybe dabble in some minor magic. But for me it's going to be hack and stab until i get my hands on the game itself.

Star Sign/Birth Sign: Again no solid decisions until i see the perks, but since i was a Warrior sign in Oblivion i'm going to tentatively put it here.

Allegiance: Myself first and foremost, as much as i am aware in the beginning i've just managed to escape from my own execution so i'm not to keen to make friends until i orientate myself to that.

Other personal roleplay information: Todd Howard has said that you are arrested in the beginning of the game after crossing the boarder from cyrodil in the skyrim, but no reason is given. I'm going to go for a hunting trip across the boarder :)

In short, a Nord who likes to stab things, like a boss.

Name: Sev'rr
Race: Female Khajiit
Class: Thresher (focus on melee and stealth with a few conjuration spells to distract/dispatch foes)
-(Have to see what chargen's like before I can even begin to speculate on unique facial features, and no set plans on pursuing any particular guild... currently.)-

Have a rather lengthy bio in mind, but simply put:

She grew up a slave in Morrowind at the Dren Plantation. Essentially liberated herself through stealth and a blade, but after felling all the guards and Dren himself, was beset and subdued by a small group of off-duty guards looking to supply a soon-to-be-wed buddy with a plaything, and was subsequently jailed. Due to the large bounty (12+ counts of murder, including one of the off-duty guards, and the theft of the plantation's head-warden's daedric daikatana), she was sentenced to death... Dren's regulars didn't quite approve of things, naturally, so they began to publicly seek out the Dark Brotherhood, which prompted the desperate reaction of carting her off to Skyrim...

My Dragonborn? Something like this:
Woh! so much awesome. ^^ What race is that supposed to be, it looks like maybe an Argonian battlemage with light armor? Then again, the drawing is probably not Elder Scrolls related so if that's the case just ignore me lol. =p
It is quite literally a Dragonborn. But from DnD, as there is a race called Dragonborns. It's the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title.

In all honesty, I'll probably make a battlemage of some sort. Perhaps Argonian. Don't know too much beyond that, but that's the general idea for now I have in my head.

Mines a charismatic male dunmer rogue whose only allegiance is to money, he's been through a lot seen more betrayal then you've seen beggars in imperial city. He has plenty of scars and stubble maybe a small beard, his wit is as sharp as his two trusty enchanted blades Blizzaga and Firaga. and he creeps through the shadows taking people out silently, but he can handle himself out in the open
He was a high ranking member of a mercenary team when the leader sold him out to a bandit group who wanted revenge, they tortured him for hours before he escaped without weapons brutally torching every bandit in the camp, he then set out to get revenge on the mercenary leader who set him up, but the leader payed for him to be sent to his execution, thus begins skyrim.....

Maybe im over thinking this

A Nord, because I've been waiting to play a proper Viking since Morrowind. Angvard, I believe I shall name him, and he'll have a gigantic red beard with maybe some small face tattoos. He will dual-wield a shortsword and a handaxe, and ally himself with whatever faction offers the most travel, fighting, and heavy drinking. Not very original, I know, but awesome nonetheless.

For my second playthrough (because of course there will be one) I'll probably go for a female Bosmer mage/rogue. I wonder if you can get a sneak attack critical with a fireball.

Race: Argonian or Bosmer
Name: Iunno, I usually come up with names as I go along.
Ideal facial details: Not a bloody clue.
Sex: Again, Iunno.
Skill Specialty and Combat Style: Most likely a paranoid Assassin/Thief, most competent with a bow and daggers for close combat. Can use magic when necessary, mainly things that will complement her base skills.
Star Sign/Birth Sign; Assuming the same effects as Oblivion, Thief. +10 to Luck Speed and Agility? Thank you very much. :D
Allegiance / Guilds or Groups: Keeps themself to themself, although works occasionally with the Thieves Guild and takes on contracts when necessary.
Other personal roleplay information; Having been arrested for no good reason my character would likely become incredibly secluded, paranoid, even. She would probably become hostile to many people, incredibly suspicious. She would not, however, let this get in the way of her keeping her connections to the world. She'd try not to kill people without reason, though would often misinterpret comments and hunt down the person who she laid the blame on, so would likely kill many people anyway, making up a reason due to her paranoia. She'd ensure she never stole from people who couldn't afford it, having known what it felt to be victimised when she was arrested pointlessly. She'd find a shack isolated in the forests and mountains and would turn it into an absolute stronghold. She would then venture out to adventure, as not even her desire to be away from other people could stem her desire to see the world in all it's glory, and her never ending curiosity would constantly get her into trouble.
Interesting how I constantly refer to her as a female despite not knowing what sex my Character will be... :p

Name: Magnus (was Logan) Gyre
Race: Nord
Sex: Male
Age: 36
Birthsign: The Warrior

Ideal facial details: Typical Nordic(sh?) features, fair hair and blue eyes with a well groomed beard. Two scars, the first from his first encounter with a young buck and the second five years later from the same buck.

Skills and Combat Style: Blade, Light Armour and Block. Tends to rush in heavy with a claymore and generally prefers light fur armours to anything heavy. Has some experience with bows, but avoids to avoid ranged combat.
Allegiance: Fighters Guild and Hunters Association, Thieves Guild in his youth.

Bio: Magnus, born Logan, descends from a tribe just South of Dawnstar. Has a penchant for fine wines and game meat, usually together. Before his arrest Logan had many adventures in Cyrodiil, where he grew up. His younger years consisted of ale fuelled brawls in taverns across Cyrodiil, the most notable of which took place at the Roxey Inn where Logan accidentally killed a man with a pitcher.

From there he fled with authorities hot on his trail, but he managed to lose them as snowstorm hit as he approached Bruma. Logan hid in the Jeralls for weeks, sneaking into Bruma once a week to steal food and then quickly retreating back to his mountain hide away. During one of his trips a local guard caught him in the act of theft and arrested him on the spot. It was three months into his sentence that a mysterious Redguard slipped into Logan's cell, claiming to belong to the Thieves Guild and extended an invitation to the young Nord.

Logan escaped with the guild's help and continued working for the guild until his early twenties, where he formally left and used his earnings to build a cabin North of Dragon Claw Rock. It was here that he assumed the name Magnus and began his life as a hunter at 22. He was injured by a young buck's antler when he was 23 and then again by the same buck when he was 28, after which he left the creature alone and came to admire it as he watched the buck grow old from within his cabin.

At 34 Magnus had learned about his ancestry from a close friend from his thieves guild days. He continued hunting, selling the pelts and meat to traders to fund expeditions into Skyrim where he hoped to discover remnants of his past. On his 36th birthday Magnus bid his friends farewell and boarded up his cabin before setting off to Skyrim to investigate the remains within a ruin South of Dawnstar.

Upon crossing the border he was arrested. He is awaiting execution for falsely claiming rights to the throne of Skyrim and incriminating himself in several murders of legitimate heirs; claims he does not remember making. By now Magnus is tired and is sick of fighting. He just wants peace and so accepts of his grim fate. His last request is to die with a bottle of Tamika Vintage 399 in his stomach.

Okay, he will be a six feet four inches tall man, as tall as Jack Dalton in Morris' <url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucky_Luke>Lucky Luke comic book series. He will sport a similar "killer" moustache.
Here's a picture for reference:
http://www.weirdspace.dk/LuckyLuke/Graphics/DaltonBrothers.jpg
Jack's the second tallest brother, the second from the left. Averell, the tallest, to his right, is seven feet tall.
And here's the moustache and beard I want:

In fact, that might as well be how my character will look like.
His speciality will be drunk brawling in Irish pubs and burping fireballs after almost drowning in his own glass of Scotch hidden shooting with a crossbow (useful for dragons, I think) and quick strikes with a short sword. He will be the kind of sneaky-sneaky guy that'll fill out an errand for you and then rob you when you turn your back :p
No allegiances, just like I played Fallout: New Vegas.

I'll probably start out as a Nord warrior class, both because I like Nords and it just seems to fit the most, then I'll probably resurect one of my Oblivion character with either a Dark Elf magic/swordsman, or an Argonian warrior with light armor and Illusion magic.

Being a stark-white Celtic Canadian, I'll probably be a Breton. Named after myself, probably a mix of an archer and warlock, because I like to avoid being bashed in the head with a morning star. If I can, I'll give him a beard like mine, and a silly hairdo just because I can.

My first playthrough of a Bethesda RPG is usually a pretty straight-up game. Do quests for profit, try to find the easiest solution to a problem, get as many achievements as possible, etc., but after I'm familiar with the game, I start to Roleplay more and more.

As for a lot of other things, like birthsign, with no Attributes, I can't rightly say what I'll do until I see them for myself.

Male Nord warrior called Jack who goes around and FUCKS SHIT UP.
But just for the people he doesn't like.
What kind of people would Jack's like and think twice about before fucking their shit up? XD
Well let's just say he's walking along, and some dude attacks him.
His shit is now fucked.
Some wolves pounce on him?
Their shit is now fucked.
A blacksmith has his prices too high?
He considers fucking his shit, but then decides to loot some dungeons and make some extra cash.
To then sell the spoils back to this overpriced Blacksmith at his own damn overpriced rate for profit.. and a sense of smug satisfaction that you just took his money for some sweaty, dirty, overused blunt axe who you just took from a prick whom, assumedly, just got his shit fucked?
You know the interesting thing here is my name is Jack and I'm from North Yorkshire (one of the primary places hit in the Norse invasion of England. Fuck yeah.

OT: Well I had a dark elf warrior mage with a complex backstory I don't feel like detailing. I might tweak it for Skyrim (assuming this one doesn't also end up in a prison cell). Or I might think of something new, it all depends...

I'm gonna be an Orc almost certainly, and specialize in swords along with restoration and conjuration magics. It should be fun.

I haven't really thought, however it would probably what most of my RPG chars are:

Name: Dave explanation mark (or "!" if it's too long) Yognaut!

Race: Dark Elf

Features: a thin beard with either long shaggy hair or a rouge ponytail or something similar (just going on what I know from oblivion, it may not be in Skyrim) a cheeky smile but kind eyes (yes, even as a Dark Elf)

Sex: Obviously Female [/sarcasm]

Combat style: Uses swords and destruction magic most, with illusion, alteration and mysti... oh wait, scratch the last one. But yeah those two on the sides. Uses a shield when not using magic in the other hand.

Star sign: The tower, shadow or the steed. I sometimes use the tower, but most of the time I can pick the lock regardless. Only recently have I decided the steed/ shadow is a better choice.

Allegience/ Guild: He will be a hero who helps everyone he comes across, but as for guilds I always just try and do all with one character, unless I'm doing serious role-play.

Backround: I rarely do RPing in TES but when I do it's usually I came from a distant province (never the same one) and I'm learning the ropes on adventuring. Like I said, I don't know what I'll do in Skyrim so I'll just put in what I do in Oblivion, and it will most likely be like that. In my current oblivion char I start at the lowest age (15) and as I do a certain amount of quests I open console commands and change my age ever so slighlty. When young I drink, boast and partake in pleasures around the land. I do the main quest and also Fighter's guild and theives guild. Towards middle age I am a grizzelled verteran of adventuring and have realised that the world is so horrible. I get darker and do quests like the Dark Brotherhood, daedric quests and the Shivering Isles. Then when I'm old I've gained much knowledge and try to find redemption before I die. I do Mages guild and KotN quests. But I may not do this in Skyrim at first since I want to experience the game normally before mods/ commands.

So yeah my guy will be a bit like this. I have a thought for a second char, a argonian thief with a fear of water. A "commical" character.

Probably my usual variations of the same two characters I tend to always use for Elder Scrolls games.
First playthrough:

Race: Dunmer
Name: Gwen
Ideal facial details: White hair, and just whatever looks best.
Sex: Female
Skill Specialty and Combat Style: Spellsword or custom variation of one.
Star Sign/Birth Sign: The Atronach
Allegiance / Guilds or Groups: Mages Guild

Second playthrough:

Race: Khajiit
Name: Cat
Ideal facial details: Sort of tiger-like.
Sex: Female
Skill Specialty and Combat Style: Stealth Specialization. Skills: Acrobatics, Alchemy, Athletics, Blade, Light Armor, Mysticism, and Security.
Star Sign/Birth Sign: The Thief
Allegiance / Guilds or Groups: Morag Tong, Dark Brotherhood, or equivalent.

I still don't have details, but I'll probably play a "default", generic Nord Barbarian (from the promo screens), just like it's meant for the first time, but for later playthroughs, I still haven't decided anything. Probably an Argonian thief.
That was an Imperial.

My dragonborn will probably be an imperial

I dunno.. I gotta see how things will look. Will I buy Skyrim, does the pope wear a funny hat?

But as what I play or what style I will have to see.
