Ok, I want you to tell your adventures in the Fallout universe. It can be from any game in the series, but it is YOUR story, not the games story. What adventures did you find in the wasteland?

Note: I looked DEEP into my story!

Here is mine:

I was a member of the regulators in Fallout 3, and I decided that I would kill the contract people at Little Horn and Associates. I got the perk that let me find them, and killed every last one, I felt sorry for the associates, as they droped no ears, which means they were not evil or good, just neutral, and may have just worked there for survival. I hunted down Little Horn, but since he could not die, I chased him all around the junk yard. Later, I left to Point Lookout, and I returned to destroy an evil book. I decided, since I had 71 fingers, I should turn them in. When I went to the Regulator HQ, it was being attacked by robots. I ran inside for safety, but there was a raider and a robot attacking the others. The others and I fought the enemies, but sadly we had lost one of are own. But then I looked at what items he had. He had a bounty on my head, saying I was a monster! So here is what I "believe" happened.

Little Horn was out to seek revenge out on what I did to him and his team. So he got a secret agent to go in, find me, and kill me, by saying I was evil. He then found out I was near, was able to contact Little Horn, and Little Horn sent a soldier of his and some robots to destroy me.

yea, I looked that deep into it.

YOUR TURN!

I was actually planning on reviving the Fallout PnP system in the Fallout usergroup, but I could never come up with a good story to go with a campaign. I had an idea about a trail of cities along Route 66, and of a detachment of communists drilling under a sleepy Illinois town to get into a Vault just hours after the nukes went off, but neither of those went anywhere...

It's Simple, really. :p

It never worked for the dudes that worked on it, and it didn't work for me either.

In my first file, I decided to make my way from Megaton to Girdershade for that silly sleepwear delivery quest. Thing is, I was a bit too low-level to be taking walks in that general direction. At some point I stumbled across that little super mutant camp just outside of Evergreen Mills, and the camp's attendant Behemoth.

Now as I said, I was way too low level to be having this kind of encounter and living. Didn't even have a companion. But I had an edge. I had specialized in Explosives. And taken all three ranks of the Demolition Expert perk.

After the thing's initial charge broke my leg, I took refuge on a little terrace thing, then waited for it to get bored and walk away. When it did, I dropped every mine in my inventory in a choke point, then got its attention with my 10mm. Like clockwork, it walked right over them. Boom. One dead behemoth, one laughing Fallout player.

I later gave much the same treatment to the caged mutant inside the Mills proper, but with more and bigger mines. By the time the glare cleared I saw he had been lifted twenty feet straight up and relieved of his legs. That was a good day.

The awesome part?

I killed the Mutant with one shot from a 9MM, and he exploded with style

My story?

lol. Console commands are fun.

Actually, I was just playing the other day and I finally found Oasis (I had beaten the game a while ago, and was desperately traveling for any new quests). I love the way Harold says "Bob". It's like "BAAAAAAAAWB"

Well, if one of the people in this thread post some decent inspiration, I might work on getting it to actually be playable. I've just got no experience with PnP games, and have none of the fancy dice...

You could have just sniped the generator powering the electric cage he was in.. he'd then break out and start slaughtering the raiders. Usually he kills all about one or two before he himself dies - and if he does survive, it doesn't take much to kill him after his battle with the raiders.
But see, then I wouldn't have gotten to unleash an explosion fit to put a tank into orbit.

Dog meat tanked him while I sprayed him down with a minigun it was kind of silly.

I once pulled out the Fat Man in Rivet City Market. I aimed it at a lady all the way across the market in V.A.T.S. and it said I had a 39% chance to hit. I shot the mini-nuke and it hit her straight between the breasts...imagine what happened to the ragdoll physics when I did that to her 0.o

Ok, I got one. You play as a villager who was kidnaped in the night while you slept. You thought it was slavers, but when you wake up, your chained to a bloody table with religious symbols painted all over your body. You need to fight your way out of the basement, escape the mansion you are trapped in, figure out what's going on, and find your way back to the village. I got the idea from the Fallout mission "The Dark Heart of Blackhall"

DO YOU LOVE IT?!

That actually sounds a lot like something out of PuceMoose's F3 quest mods. (He's a god among men...)

I'm looking for something that a group can play through.

Ok, new idea.

You and your friends are recently captured slaves, and the slave master decides you should play his "game." He makes your slave collars explode on a timer, and gives you 48 hours to travel through the wastes to find a far off slave camp, and the slave master there will save the first one there, and set him/her free, but the others will die. This means that to get there, you need to work together, but also be one step above the others, and you may decide to kill the team so you can win.

Now that's a much better idea. Though I don't see how a slaver would let a slave free. Tying it to the Legion (winner gets to be a conscript, all the losers drop like flies!) or maybe adding some kind of slaver opposition (one who brings back a runner gets a promotion!) would also be good.

Thanks! Something to screw around with once Vegas is released and done with...
