Oooof. Tough choice between the games I play.

GTA IV was ok, nothing awe-inspiring though. Fallout 3 was quite good, until you know... the end.

I'm torn between Fable 1 and AC. Fable was done just right, no matter how simple the game was. Plus, the comedy was quite good. AC was just mindblowing though. "Hey, it's medevil times! No wait! It's simulation... or is it? Actually yes."

I'll have to go for Drakengard though. And if anyone can guess my favourite ending, they get a cookie.

there was a transformers movie in 1986?
yes. it was amazing. nostalgia is a powerful thing. why do you think there was so much hype over the Michael Bay/Steven Spielberg Transformers Movie? you didn't think people were excited because they thought it'd actually be good on its own merits?

I loved the Frozen Throne (Warcraft 3) story, bloody vengeance and betrayal. It took me 2 years to beat that game so I grew up with it plus I loved the characters and I still prefer it over WOW!

We can all appreciate a good story but the most important part of a game is the gameplay.

the lore for the whole Warcraft series is awesome.
Other than that, metroid prime echoes and Killer 7 have great stories.

Brothers in Arms (all of them). I love the story, the way it focuses on loss and sorrow and not just killing men in grey suits

Oh, c'mon people. 3 pages and no mention of Shadow Hearts: Covenant!? For shame.

I mean, you get to fight Rasputin for crying out loud. Really, though, it's one of the few games where the plot twists don't feel forced.

Morrowind. Oblivion's was fine, there weren't any surprises, but it was a little easier to follow.

I can't take the "Final Fantasy" answers seriously. I just can't...
Spikey haired boy who looks suspiciously like a pre-pubescent girl meets suspiciously sexualised pre pubescent looking girl and shows her his gigantic sword which is twice the size of him due to possible over compensation for a certain racial stereotype.

What's not to love?
Well, we know someone hasn't played any FF games.

Probably American McGee's Alice as far as I can think. That was such an awesome adaptation of the original story, it felt literally as if Lewis Carroll had written it.

BioShock (So long as this sequel doesn't screw it up) or the Half-Life series.

Okami comes to mind since it was realy unpredictable and longer that expected, i realy liked all the characters and etc

also i always liked the metroid series, Prime in particular has a nice story and since you read it through ruins and logs and combined with the feeling of isolation it gets realy imersive

but i have to say Zelda Majoras Mask because of the nostalgia factor, the whole moon falling and the dozens of characters gave that game the best title of the Zelda franchize award since you dont have to rescue that fucking *****
