Your favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Card

I admit, my experience with the game is limited to infrequent bouts in the DS's "World Championship 2008" game. The two cards I've developed a particular fondness for are Vorse Raider (for quick raw damage) and Magician's Valkyria (mainly for the design).

I've played for the longest time with a deck centered aroud a bunch of Man-Eater Bugs, a handful of beefy guys and some ressurection cards : I'd always end up with all my opponent's creatures finishing him off, that was great.

Horus the Black Flame Dragon Lv. 8 was my dominant card. In its heydey, I pretty much owned my metagame. Those days are gone now, as the deck is super-slow.

Nostalgia-wise? Probably Super Conductor Tyranno. First deck and all.

Also as a general question who actually knows how to play Yu-Gi-Oh? I only just learnt the rules myself, because when I was 7 I could not understand it at all

I know how to play quite well. At least I used to, I was a ref for official tournaments but I don't really have much of a clue with more recent cards.

OT: It's hard to pick a favorite so I'd go for this

The more recent cards like Synchro Summons and Xyz summons are actually pretty easy to understand, they just look really confusing , its all quite similar to fusion really.

Haha, my friends and I recently just started having a few duels every now and then since their internet got cut off. I'd never played it before now, but I already pretty much knew the rules and how it's played just by watching the show as a kid.

So I would have to say that this;

Just because it's gotten me out of a lot of troubles during our duels.

I do, but haven't played in a while. My favourite card is probably Dark Paladin for the awesome factor. A friend of mine once managed to summon it on his first turn...only for it to be bounced back to the Fusion Deck when I set my trap off. He was not amused, I was
