Luigi could start literally start playing second fiddle (unfairly, in my opinion). Or he could make a restaurant that sells lotsa' spaghetti.

Frank West already has a job...kinda. I doubt I can use my saints row 2 character either, since he's not a set person. Niko had "normal" jobs...this is a bloody tricky question to answer if your favorite protaginists where from games set in present time.

Kratos would be an awesome butcher.
Not sure how long he'd last until he would want to cut up living things again though.

Tommy Vercetti would get a job mopping the floor at a bank, then rob the place in it's entirety. Either that or get the job and then in a few weeks own the bank and all franchises.

Favorite character? Guh. Too hard to choose. Well, what game did I play last? Oh, right, Harvest Moon. Now, if my farmer had to hold down a regular job...

...Wait.

*facepalm*

Okay, let's try this again. Before that, I played... right, Fallout: NV. Now, if my Courier had to get a regular job, what would-

...

DAMMIT.
Nice

OT: Not my favorite, but I'd like to see the Heavy from TF2 work at a grocery store where they take your stuff to your car for you.

I would like the Courier (me) to hold down a job.
*Pfft* I control New Vegas, I have a casino earning me cash from adventurous crazies, and I have the prime families of the area all under my heel. The governments of Caesar and the NCR recognize me an independent entity, and they wouldn't dare trespass against me.
Why do I need a job?

Edit: Courier is already a job. I guess I'll just quit send them a letter of resignation, along with a trade pact with my newly established empire.

Captains Price and Mctavish both become bouncers at night club/ bar. Said club/bar quickly becomes the safest bar/club in existence.

I guess the Kid from Bastion could find work as a demolitions foreman, especially with that Calamity Cannon...

Jack from Bioshock would make an excellent fry cook. He could cook with a variety of ways to appease his customers.

Well, Francis York Morgan already works for the FBI, so I guess I'll have to pick a different one. I choose Caleb.
Wait, how the hell is an insane undead cowboy with glowing red eyes supposed to hold a normal job? Well, he could be a farmer, with his immense pitchforking skills, but he'd probably just kill all the farm animals and blow up the farm.

The protagonist from Saints Row.

Ugh, In one of the activities you could be a cop, I reckon he would be a great [small]overpowering[/small] cop.
