Oh man, i remember when i had my cherry popped. ((concert wise anyway))
It was back in 2003? maybe 2004....

Anyway, i was only like 13/14 at the time, and my friends dad got some free tickets to a Cradle Of Filth Concert.

Ofcourse, his son and i, being cradle of filth addicts, asked if we could go to the concert. He said sure, but only if he went with us to make sure we didnt get in trouble. So we slipped the ticket dude a couple hundred, and he let us in, and before were even 9 feet in the door, some dude comes running by, and knees me in the mouth. Luckly i only lost 2 teeth. I tryed to play it off, and we ended up staying for the rest of the concert.

Ofcourse, when we got home, my uncle ((who i was living with at the time)) wanted to know where a few of my teeth went. i had to lie ofcourse and tell him i fell down a flight of stairs at my friends house the day before.

Ahhh, good times. To be young and metal.

Technically, my first was a Santana gig up in the Haight when I was still in my mother's belly. She was standing next to Carlos' mom, and had a nice conversation with her.

But the first one I remember once out of the womb was Day on the Green Number One for summer 1982. I was twelve. The lineup was Gamma (with Ronnie Montrose), Toto, The Tubes (God, yes), Santana (again), and Journey headlining.

For the one or two of you youngins who has an aunt or uncle old enough to remember how huge Journey was, you might crack open the booklet that came with their box set to the center spread to see a giant photo of my first concert.

Goldfinger's Hello Destiny tour, Worcester, MA at a shitty nightclub.

Got right up front to the stage with cheap tickets, though. That was a plus. Wall of death, crowdsurfing, dancing on stage with the band, and one lucky bloke ate a Twinkie out of the drummer's ass. Only the half that wasn't in the ass, but still.

And they only played one song from their new album before playing all the old stuff everyone loves. 99 Red Balloons, Spokesman, Chris Cayton, S.M.P, Superman...I could go on for a while.

My dad took me to see Weird Al Yankovic when I was 10. Does that count? The first concert I've been to on my own was Blind Guardian / Symphony X in 2001.

I was 13 and my parents took me to see Muse in Milan at the start of their black holes and revelations tour, even though it was a small club gig with about 5000 peoples, it was still bloody amazing! got VIP'd and after party treatment =D I cherish that day :3

First concert experience? For me that would be when I saw They Might Be Giants in NYC not long after "The Else" came out. It was pretty sweet. What was really memorable though was that afterwards a large group of people from the concert got onto the same subway car and we all spontaneously broke out into "Birdhouse In Your Soul". That was pretty fun.

My first big concert experience was seeing Muse with a friend in Philly during their Resistance tour. Since my first concert was TMBG I wasn't quite expecting the sheer volume of noise coupled with the light show. Talk about sense overload. I also remember headbanging the whole way through the second half of "Knights of Cydonia." Fucking awesome.

I think my first concert was Camp Kill Yourself (cKy).
But then it changed more to ZZ Top, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd etc.

But I still do not regret cKy.
