I think I was about 7 or 8 years old. It was with my best friends' sister who was a little younger and we did it while we were hiding under the picnic table in their backyard. Afterwards she was my "girlfriend" for the next few years. Really though we were just kids being kids. Our moms thought it was "soooo adorable though."

I was in the 5th grade I guess about 10 or 11, and it was a girl who went to the same church as me. One day after her piano lessons she wanted to play hide and seek and hid in a closed off stairway. Once I found her she pulled me in and closed the door. Good times.

About 10 months ago, with the girl I'm still with. I told her I really liked her, she said she liked me too. I asked could I kiss her, then our lips met. It was ok, nothing huge. We've got plenty of styles now though :3

It bugs me though, even now, that I wasn't her first kiss. She says she regrets etc and wishes she'd waited for me, and some boys even managed to bite her lip and make her bleed.

Anyone know of a way to stop thinking about it? Kind of like jealousy I wasn't there first. It's ruining me, and she just feels guilty. If anyone has suggestions please say!

It seems like genuine insecurity and resulting jealousy to me. When we feel afraid (such as insecurity) we try to control things. We do this for various reasons, mostly because we believe the more control we have, the less likely something bad will happen -- in reality this behavior creates more problems than it could ever solve. In your specific case, it sounds like you have not had a serious relationship (or a relationship at all) before this and your anxiety and preoccupation with the idea of one is getting in the way. The knowledge that she has had in the past people who have meant something to her creates doubt and trepidation in your mind. To you, if you are the only one she has ever thought of romantically, your odds of "keeping her" increase. The thought that you may be compared to past experiences or that you may too become just another name in her past could play a major role as well.

I'd start by apologizing profusely for the stress and sadness you have caused her, admit that nothing she has done is wrong. I'd open up about your issues with her too.

I made out with my brother's ex-gilfriend at his 21st birthday whilst she was engaged to another guy.

I think I was in kindergarten or so. It was in this piece of playground equipment that was a barrel and pipes made to look like a big spider. It was actually two girls I told them I'd marry them both. We then played house.

Though those were little pecks so I'm not sure if they count. I do remember I got in lots of trouble.

Mine was when I was 12 or 13

Mine was a similar age, I met her down by the river when I was going for a walk. My sisters had both gotten boyfriends around the age of 16. Being the paranoid bastard I am, I was worried they'd be all strict about the whole thing, so I kept it secret. We were sitting in the field by the river we always met in and she tapped me on the shoulder and just went for it. Was a bit surprising, and I wasn't that good at it, but I remember fondly.

I was 13 or 14, and she was the girl of my dreams (at the time anyway). We had a good long kiss on the cuoch - just out of view of my mother in the next room. It seems so long ago now.

The next year or so of my life was very complicated after that. She ended up causing me unbelievable amounts of both unbridled joy and extreme suffering. I learned a lot though. We did not exactly part on good terms, and I really wish we had. I carry very few regrets with me in life, but the one that bothers me the most is how it ended with her.

And then my popcorn fell all over her lap and we both laughed a lot.

I was her first kiss too. Shame that she turned lesbian 2 years later and is not the same person who I dated and became best friends with after the break up.

OT: I was 18 during my first kiss, which is just embarassing. What's more embarassing though was the fact that it happened after I'd fallen over like a bumbling retard, smashed my head on the floor and apparently almost fallen into the guy's swimming pool. Woke up after a short while and the pathetic conversation that followed lead to that first kiss.

Then I ended up in hospital afterwards. Apparently smacking your skull on tiled flooring at high speed isn't too good for you.

That's one of the more interesting first kiss stories I've heard. Weirdly romantic sounding...

My first kiss (well, non-spin-the-bottle-peck-on-the-lips kiss) was when I was 9, at a bonfire party in the middle of the night. She was a cute, pale girl with pitch black hair and I was a skinny, grubby hippie child. We resolved to get this kissing thing figured out, clamped on for dear life, and didn't quit the whole night. We woke up together in the grass the next day from the sound of our friends laughing at us.
