Holy shit, you are Spiderman!
(there is no e-mote for wistful smile, unfortunately) I wish... I was lying on a park bench, and my then girlfriend just walked towards the side where my head was and kissed me. It was oddly symmetrical, in a weird, rotational sense.

It's funny, because the second kiss we shared was so 'standard' that it felt oddly disappointing.

I've been dropping by the Escapist for some time now, and though I browsed the forums every now and again if an interesting topic came up in the sidebar, I never felt the need to join until now. Mostly because I love these kind of stories in a creepy, voyeuristic sort of way.
Most people have an extended lurking period. I did for about six months before I made an account. Hope you like it anyway!

First one I remember was with my first girlfriend back in high school, I was 15. We were joking around on her couch, and I stuck my tongue out at her, when she rushed up to kiss me. I was stunned, and had to actually ask if she'd just kissed me. She admitted it, and then we started practicing.

Not that anyone cares, but we were together 8 months and I could've seen myself marrying her. We'd been best friends for years before this, but I screwed up the relationship. If I had to have a regret, it'd be that.

Once when I was seven but I recon that doesn't really count.

Again when I was 17. The girl was about to take off to Cambodia for two months, and two months to Ecuador a while later.

Freaking perfect. More than half a year later she's still my girlfriend though. :)

My first kiss was when I was 8. It was also when I got to 3rd base for the first time.. God were our parents pissed when they found us. To tell the truth, at the time, I had no idea what what I was doing meant XD

2 Weeks ago, with a random girl I met in a club and we were at it within an hour. Incidentally, It was also my first night clubbing. I was beyond piss drunk at that point, and couldn't remember jack the next morning.
PROTIP: Save it for someone special. Otherwise you just feel bad the next morning.

I'll just copy/paste this from the last thread I saw about first kisses.
Cap said:
Depending on if we're talking peck, or actual kiss, either when I was 12 or 13
The peck was after he had run 500 meters away from his bus that was going to leave in the next 30 seconds to bring me my PE kit which I had forgotten. I rewarded him with the peck on the cheek.
My first kiss was about 8 months later when I was 13, we were in the school library one morning quite early, so we were the only people there, save the librarian around the corner it was pouring down so we were both sodden, and we sat at one of the stupid half-hexagon tables, and somehow sweet talk between younglings turned into a kiss. He was visibly trembling as we moved in, it was kind of cute, if a bit of an odd feeling to have a vibrating boy on your face.
You were right though OP, resurrecting a thread idea is good if it's an interesting idea and one that has the opportunity for interesting conversation, but necroing old threads is bad.

I was eighteen.
it was after dealing with a shitty prom(so end of June).
in a hotel room.
at five in the morning.
His name was Nick.
ate a donut afterwards.
I was so taken back by it that I sort of froze up. but then we stopped and then went at it again.

Ah my first kiss...It's not exactly a love story, I'd say the opposite. Anyway my first kiss was when I was 16, which I still am but it was last year...Actually it was one year ago last month, coolio! Anyway we were at a sleepover watching some film and we were cuddling on the couch and then after a bit we went under the cover we had a made out, it was nice...Of course there was one downside...She was dating one of my best friends, they'd been dating for two years (though she is crazy and it had ups and downs) but anyway he's dating someone else now and so is she and I should be but I made a mistake on new years eve/day...and now it's too late to be with the one I love...But that's a story for another time kids!

I was 14 and it was with my first 'girlfriend' (I use the term loosely for relationships that last less than a month)

We were at the bus stop waiting for my bus, and when it came she gave me a quick kiss on the lips and took off. I was just so shocked that I broke into a huge grin that persisted most of the night.

Immediately after my first kiss, She puked.

Seriously, she blamed it on her emotions, but yeah.

I was 17, it was with a girl I was head over heels in love with, it was her idea and mainly because we had nothing better to do. We were friends at the time and hung out regularly, so the situation was pure luck. I made a mess of things, opened my mouth too much (doesn't help that my mouth is roughly 50% larger than hers) and the whole thing ground to a somewhat embarrasing halt, followed by some awkward silence. I don't think we ever mentioned it again.

Overall, it wasn't a complete fail. While I did screw the whole thing up, I did get to have my first kiss be with a smoking hot chick that I had a massive crush on.

And no, we didn't end up together eventually. She wound up with a layabout douchebag a year later and is still with his lazy college dropout arse. I met my soulmate at 20 and have spent the last 6 years of my life with the woman of my dreams. And got a lot better at kissing...

You weren't her first and statistically you won't be her last, or she yours. Just try to enjoy yourselves in the here and now and don't worry about the future or the past.

To be completely honest, if she never had crappy kiss before, what makes her think you're the best she has had? Everyone before you has failed, you have succeeded, now bask in your own glow!
Like this idea, nice and ego-boosting ;)

I know what you feel like. I wasn't my girlfriend's first kiss, but she was mine. I also wasn't her first something else, which is the part that bothers me.

It's going to sound offensive but "grow up" really is your answer to that.

By the time you get to my age good luck finding a girl that hasn't fooled around in some way. Nor would I really want to.
Right, I'm 17. I want to just forget about it/grow up/move on/whatever way you want to put it. It's little things that snap me back, and remind me. Think I haven't told her? I don't want to hurt her any more, over something so ridiculously stupid! I know rightly that I'm making a big deal out of nothing, believe me.

15, with my second boyfriend (the first one was a very innocent, holdy-handy thing when I was 14 and the furthest we ever got was a kiss on the cheek). We went to primary school together, then lost touch completely until one of my best friends told me he was gay and I looked him up on Facebook out of curiosity. Ah, sweet romance. I was just vaguely... surprised, really, which was weird because he'd been sexy-texting me for days before that and I went into the date thinking we were going to have sex (trust me, I had fairly conclusive evidence). I didn't dislike it, but I didn't like it either. There was a *lot* of kissing on that date, and I think I did kind of like it by the end of it, but for the first hour and a half or so or kissing and fooling around I just kind of did what I was told or what I thought I was meant to do. He was much more experienced, I was something like his sixth girlfriend. And then I lost my virginity to him about three weeks later.

I remember it well.

I was either almost 16 or almost 15... Yep, it was 15 I'm pretty sure.

I kinda skipped the romantic kiss phase and went straight to making out with a girl who was very cute (turns out she was going through a rebellious phase and had stopped taking her pills. She was a little strange at the time). I was nervous as shit but I found that telling yourself "just do it" really works.

I've been told I did well. And not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think that kissing is one of the few things that I'm pretty decent at. But I always had this strange thought in the back of my head that I kiss way to femininely. It might be one of those random things that you worry about in life, but it's always kinda bugged me.

Was 19, kind of late yeah.
Was watching a movie in my room at some residence in the town of my university, with a girl I had just met 1-2 months ago at the beginning of the new academic year.
We immediately became best friends.
Only problem was, I completely fell for her, which I had also told her some time before she visited. But she had a boyfriend since 2,5 years. (See what's coming?)
She told me she wouldn't act different around me and that she liked me too.
So yeah watching the movie and when it ended, she turned to me and asked; "so, what we do next?"
As I was replying; "I don't know, what you ..." she suddenly started kissing me full on the mouth.
Caught me totally by surprise, but yeah, went along with it. We were tonguing within seconds and went on kissing for hours. (Afterwards she said she couldn't believe I had never kissed before, hmm)

The rest is another story, let's just say it didn't end well after 6 months for me and we're no longer friends because I couldn't take it anymore.

This was probably a bit tmi, but meh.

my first kiss was when i was 13, me and a bunch of my friends were playing spin the bottle at a halloween party and the rules were (since we didnt have a ton of people) was that if you got the same person 3 times you were required to make out with them for a pre-determined amount of time. at the time i was really into one of my girl friends who was a bit older than me, but i had never let on as such. i landed on her twice, no big deal kisses, like small like peck's, but then i land on her a third time. i got so nervous and shaky i almost threw up, but then i (SURPRISINGLY) confidently went up to her and we made out for a solid 30 seconds. still one of the best kisses of my life, just because the setup was excellent and the anticipation only made it better, pretty sure she liked it to, would never ask though...

"oh hey, remember that time we totally made out?" "umm yeah, why?" "uhhh, i was just wondering... you know... if you enjoyed it at all...?" "actually it was one of the worst experiences of my life, thanks for bringing it back up" "FML!" dreams crushed, cries self to sleep

About 10 months ago, with the girl I'm still with. I told her I really liked her, she said she liked me too. I asked could I kiss her, then our lips met. It was ok, nothing huge. We've got plenty of styles now though :3

It bugs me though, even now, that I wasn't her first kiss. She says she regrets etc and wishes she'd waited for me, and some boys even managed to bite her lip and make her bleed.

Anyone know of a way to stop thinking about it? Kind of like jealousy I wasn't there first. It's ruining me, and she just feels guilty. If anyone has suggestions please say!
People bit her lip? Make fun of them for that. That's always been considered a more feminine thing. That's not something you do till a few months down the line.

Also why would she feel guilty? You have to get through the idiots first to find the right one.
