First RPG I owned, would be Skies of Arcadia for DC.

First I played... *noise of gears...* could have been FF7 or Valkyrie Profile, not sure.

Pokemon Yellow. 'Twas a fine evening in 1999...
btw, I'm raising a Dewgong right now in SS.
I love you. But you knew that already, I hope.

I would have one on my team, and I love the Pokemon itself, but he's only semi-decent stat-wise. I can't seem to settle for anything less than the best, what with all those damn Garchomps and Skarmories out there.
Like I'd use him online. Nah. He's my Ice type for the Elite Four. And other Dragons.

Was it Morrowind or Diablo 2? Hmmm... I think it was Morrowind. Yeah, it was Morrowind, but Diablo 2 is still my favorite RPG (and favorite game of them all). But, man, I never, NEVER played a game so long as I did with Morrowind. I think I explored just about every corner of the map and I stole just about every item in the game.

Mine was Shining force on Sega genesis, it's a tactical RPG so ever since then I've been into that kinda stuff. FF tactics kicked ass to.

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many young'uns here. My first RPG was Dragon Warrior 1, followed shortly by Final Fantasy 1.

Pokémon Blue.

So simple yet so many options for how to raise your party, albeit on a strictly linear path, but it's an original Game Boy game. What else would you expect?

it got me started in my interest in JRPGs. I then later on played Final Fantasy VIII (which I prefer to VII, yes I'm scum) and absolutely loved that, and a lot of others in that series, and also tried a few other JRPGs.

In Terms of WRPGs, I got to that party a bit late. My 1st was Fable. I loved it. Simple as that. I didn't play anymore WRPGs until the current gen, when I got to experience Mass Effect, Fable II, and Fallout 3. Love those games!!

I think the first one that REALLY pulled me in was Pools of Radiance. I played that game for hours and hours. I played Wizardry and Ultima before that, but Pools was just awesome to me at the time.

Oh ya baby! Rocking some RGP on the C64! I loved that game: performing weapon multi-hits, casting room-filling fireballs, moving my characters with a joystick.

I also was a big fan of the Bard's Tale series. It's been so long, I can't remember which was first.
