I second this request. Lack of a MP server is what keeps me from playing Minecraft. Surely the Escapist has a server?OniaPL said:Does anyone know a decent multiplayer server?

... Then why post in a thread aimed at people who do play the game if all you're going to say is that you don't play it?Drakane said:"Don't start playing".. its worked well for me so far.
Don't dig down?DasDestroyer said:Up isn't that bad. If it's water or gravel, you can easily survive. If it's lava, you can always get back and block it off.
DO NOT dig down is much more golden. If it's lava or a pitfall - consider yourself toast.

I've actually taken to venturing out away from my stronghold, placing flaming beacons at easily visible milestones as I go, so that if I need to find my way back in the dark I just have to follow the lights.
