Did people really find MW2 on veteran that hard? I thought it was an absolute breeze compared to COD:WAW on vet. I'm still stuck on that in fact.

The 'rockhound' trophy on Infamous made me want to break things (collect all the shards). Also playing the game through on Hard Mode made my hand ache for a couple of days as I found the best tactic was to bolt-spam everything.

That's the one. You do it with prox mines. Found the video on you tube. Nearly punched a hole in the computer screen.

The best way to play inFamous on hard mode is to spec evil and never look back. Those clusterbomb grenades do serious damage.

I don't know if anyone's said this yet. (cause i'm lazy and can't be effed looking through 12 pages =D) But in Fallout 3 getting all 100 ingots in The Pitt.
I love fallout 3 but that achievement right there makes me want to stop playing =/

LOLOL CRACKDOWN/2 ORBS
Much easier than in the first game... you have a radar that tells you where they are. I found all 300 in a few hours.

The hidden orbs, on the other hand, are harder. I still have 18 I can't find.

i dont grind achievements, but the one i remember most and probably wont ever achieve again is the "What the?!" achievement in COD4:MW

shooting through 2 walls into an explosive and killing the man that planted the explosive. Still remember vividly how it happened! i was down stairs saw a dude run pass the door way upstairs, Shot through the stairs and doorframe and blew up the claymore he just placed by the door! Most Epic Achievement ever! XD
yeah, but with the addition of Sitrep, my favorite perk, that is no longer a issue
yet another reason y 1 was superior to 2 :p achievements felt like u achieved something.

U are mad! sitrep! hah Cold Blooded Pro and the infinite sprint one (haven't played for like 6 months) are best! no uav, and no claymores blowing up in your face! o and no getting picked off by sniper while hiding in tall grass. :p
you say it like they cant still hit you, Sitrep pro makes your foot steps louder. I'll hear you running by way before you ever get there. add hardline or stopping power, and bling and you have a rough combo.

Any of the "don't die or wipe" raid achievements in WoW.

The Immortal/Undying and Tribute to Insanity/Dedicated Insanity/Immortality.

Shooting General Amsel in WaW with a pistol.

I didn't know how the hell I managed it as I just got pissed and just shot in his direction, but when I did, leaps of joy were had.

Our Undying run (back when Naxxramas was actually difficult) was ruined by a twat who couldn't do the Safety Dance. We finished the raid, and made it through everything else without a death. Then looked at him.

Our second Undying run was ruined by an idiot Mage who Ice Blocked, tricking someone into hiding behind him (during Sapphiron).

There have been many other failures for silly reasons like these. We never did get Undying.

I would never even attempt Insane in the Membrane...

Call of Duty four on Veteran. There may be another, but I need to think....
*Thinks*
Oh yeah, World at War's Gunslinger, and Kamikaze achievments, and Halo 3's Mongoose Mowdown

Brains achievement for Borderlands, yeah sure it's a pretty damn easy achievement to get...but it goes on for so fucking long. So repetitive, so boring.

Rockhound in inFAMOUS. People keep going on and on saying it's a difficult achievement, but it's actually just time consuming.

For my guild undying wasn't too bad, but The Immortal was absolutely brutal. Six weeks in a row with single-death Naxx runs. We never got that one.

The "kill it with nerfed gear" achievements weren't too bad. I ended up getting both of them (Herald of the Titans and Dedicated Insanity) on my first try, then promptly deleted those gear sets. Not doing that bullshit again.

The final phase of Anub'arak always destroyed our Tribute to Immortality runs and it wasn't until just recently that my old guild got it.

I don't consider Insane in the Membrane to be an achievement. I consider it suicide.
