Having only played Oblivion and Skyrim i don't know if this has been covered in another game. Or even in Skyrim, i'm level 48 but i might not have come across it yet. Anyway, i really want to find out what happened to the Dwemer. Having read every book in the museum in Markarth and thoroughly explored all the dwarven ruins, i want to know more....

Big-huge bad from eons in the past returns. The only things that can kill it? Trueflame and Hopesfire. Find them and use them to return order to Tamriel.

Constant effects intact.

Some good houses are all I need. Like in Oblivion. Owning the PC version of Morrowind and adding approximately fifty shitloads of awesome houses to it, and getting the console version of Skyrim and not being able to do the same to that, is not a very nice experience.

That's answered, to an extent, in Morrowind.

A Dwemer scientist was experimenting with the Heart of Lorkhan, which was the literal heart of the long-dead god that was partially responsible for the creation of Nirn (the physical world as we know it). He was being fairly responsible with his testing, which is unusual enough for a Dwemer, but went into crisis mode when Red Mountain, the location of the Dwemer fortess where the heart was found, was beseiged by the Dark Elves (who might have still been regular elves at that point, I can't remember). Anyway, he did something with the heart that is still unclear to Tamriel historians, and the Dwemer- all of them- disappeared. No slow degredation of their civilization, no apocalyptic war, just one guy dicking around with the heart and ever Dwemer dissappears in the middle of breakfast. It's unclear whether they were killed, or transported to another plane, or what, but every Dwemer who was on Nirn at the time is gone.

Co-op?

Co-op is being worked on.

Oh boy, it's time to pray to Talos.

I swear, the amount of mods in Oblivion that said they were making co-op, only for me to notice that they were dead.

Hell, for one co-op, I think it was called TS4, the guys last post was "BRB. Getting a sandwich"

R.I.P Sandwich guy.

But really, the demo he had put out was playable but you couldn't enter any house or any cave or fort ect. He was about to post how to add cells like caves so you can enter them.

Then came the sandwich post.

The Sandwich.

The Sandvich.

The Heavy.

It was him!

EDIT: Fail quoting.

A complete and utterly-barmy idea here, but y'know there's a time wound on top of the Troat of the World? How about a Dragonborn from 300 years into the future shows up with a new threat which only TWO Dragonborns can defeat, but the future Dragonborn is all steampunky because industry begin to harness the Dwarven robots into their day to day lives and... what too much?

Okay, failing that I want crossbows and a chance to go to Summerset Isles. Because whenever I hear that name it just reminds of my holiday to Somerset in the UK a few years back. Only with bigger crabs.

a random event where a single guard fights off 10 bandits alone, but the last one shoots him in the knee just before death.

1) Take a trip back to Morrowind and see what damage that volcano did.
2) Go see how cyrodil is doing.
3) Look into fighting the Thalmore
4) Have the game confirm in some way that the champion of cyrodil became the new sheograth along with another large questline leading to the return of the Nerevarine. Then it is revealed that the dragonborn is the reborn Shezzarine (cause why not).

I would also love Elswyr, because I love the Khajiit, but as that is pretty far geographically from Skyrim, a more reasonable hope would be if they released a pack that added a few Khajiit you could marry

A DLC where the Stormcloaks/Imperial legion task you with purging the Thalmor from Skyrim, and the last mission being you and Ohdahviing tearing up their headquarters in Sommerset isle.
Also, before the final mission, the greybeards teach you a shout to summon the spirit of talos for a short time, just to piss the Thalmor off even more.

Basically,Thalmor murdering spree.

There is still one last living Dwarf you meet in the 'Corprusium'. He is bloated with Corprus & built artificial legs he can walk with. His name was Yagrum Bagarn

not sure if i have anything original. everyone else has already posted good ideas; co-op, dragon riding, a new province like Elsweyr or Black Marsh
