I just bought the Witcher 2 on PC. Unfortunately it's quite big and I am downloading it over a very small connection. 4 days downloading later and it still hasn't arrived yet. I have yet to receive my money's worth - but I have patience, hope, and no download cap.
I also recently purchased Witcher 2. I got a new disc copy from Gamestop with soundtrack and guidebook for $40 CAD. Even though I was on the fence about the game, I couldn't resist a good deal, not to mention their PC games section has shrunken down to bugger all.

I dig the game so far but,..not so much if I had to download 15 gigs on dial-up.

Last LAST purchase was Guitar Hero 2 used, and it was worth it.

Last NEW game purchase was Shadows of the Damned, definitely worth it.

Of course. Every game I buy, I make SURE that I will enjoy before I hand my greens over. Thus, I'm proud to say that every game in my collection is a quality game and if it isn't, it's because I got it for free.

My last game purchase was Dead Space 2 for the PS3. I have already played throught the campaign once, and I can say that it was an awsome game. It definatly brought back the same feeling of being on a broken, but still futuristic, world in space. It still had the creepy elements to keep me scared at times, and had the cool weapons/tools and the new game mechanics and zero gravity sections really makes one feel like they can take on anything.
The game also came with the multiplayer, which gives an entire new feel to the game. It takes away the fear element, and puts players to the challenge of really working together and playing to their strenghts (especially as a necromorph) to win a match. The game even came with Dead Space: Extraction. While I am not really a fan of rail based shooters, it does add back story to the original game, and is worth trying out for any fan of the Dead Space Universe.
It was well worth the thirty-five dollars (US currency) I paid for it.

Borderlands GOTY Edition for $7.50. I'd say it was well worth the money. I'm suprised how much fun I'm having with it even though I played the xbox version extensively before.

LA Noire, the day it came out. I haven't been gaming much, I spend more of my time out, doing....stuff....?

Really don't get the whole difference in game genre and how your talking as if its a drug and doing a FPS is like going from smoking weed to shooting up heroine..
I dunno, I think I can remember chasing a pink dragon in some games. And some games have made me feel like I'm actually on drugs.

My last purchase was Dragon Age 2 for £22. Admittedly I didn't buy it for myself, buuuut... still not worth it.

Before that I bought FF13, for myself, at £20 which was totally worth it. *glee*
I wish I could buy games directly from publishers, instead of from second-hand shops and eBay. I don't like gamestations. £40-50? Rip-offs!

I bought FO: New Vegas for $20, and while it may not be as good as 3(wouldn't know, seeing as I haven't played it) I've put more than a handful of hours into since I've bought it.

The last game(s) I bought were Scribblenauts and Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. I don't know if they were worth it as I have no intention of playing them any time in the near future but I have a sneaking suspicion that they are going to be fun.

I recently bought Cooking Mama 3 (I already own the first two), and I think it was definitely worth the $20. It's not a long game, but it's definitely a challenge to achieve perfection on every recipe and make Mama happy.

Well, I am 3 years out of date, but I bought Fallout 3 and all it's DLCs off steam for £6.

Let's just say I haven't been sleeping properly for the last week

Persona 3, new copy, fifteen dollars. That was a week ago, and my 70 hours game time speaks for itself.

Not sure if I'll finish it, though- I just bought P3P on eBay, and it'll get here soon.
